First call up for Morocco. That Taarabt-Chair combo is going to be tasty! Huge congrats to him, he's had a really good season

Great for him.

Another potential AFCON loss for us in January though.

Very pleased for him. He'll no doubt be made up with his first call up to the senior squad after being in U23 and U20 teams.

Good for the club too as this should increase his transfer value.

Great news and much deserved.

Never knowingly right.

Will benefit him and us training with the likes of Adel and Hakimi.

Ziyech, he can kick all day long.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Who else was he eligible for? Belgium and England?

Great news. Delighted for Chair - great attitude and a joy to watch.

Poll: Player of the Year (so far)

And the best thing about Ilias is his commitment to QPR. Was more than happy to sign a long term contract knowing that Rangers will get top dollar for him if bigger clubs come knocking. That’s his repayment to the club for giving him the chance to be where he is now. Don’t find many players like that nowadays.

Actually, this is not as great as you think. He will have a clause in it like Freeman did so, probably we will get less than £10m for him. However still better than leaving on a free in 2 years time.

Does anyone know if Chair is a Berber...and if so, would he be shag or a tight loop?

Is that a guess or you know that for a fact

A guess based upon recent past evidence of what happened when our top player at the time (Freeman) signed a contract and we were all so happy about it and then left a year later due to a clause in his contract.

To be honest, whether there is a clause or not is immaterial. If the right offer comes along for any of our high performers (Dieng/Dickie/Chair) we would sell them. The only good thing about a long-term contract is we don't get screwed over like with BOS and Manning, where we got a combined fee of £1m or thereabouts , for £5-6M worth of talent.
