Brilliant thread that and very useful during lockdown.

As I've said there I found Fauda underwhelming and won't give the follow up seasons a go.

Unorthodox was very good.

Currently watching Sinner Series 2 and enjoying that as well.

Unorthodox! Binged 3 tonight and boy it's slow. Ended up feeling sorry for all characters, not sure I can face last episode. You lot must be on a higher intellectual plane to me, I couldn't recommend this to anyone, but plenty have so ignore me ðŸ¤

Lived right on the edge of Borough Park for 5 years at one point. The cops used to love setting speed traps for people flying out of there in their Honda minivans :)

Used to love walking over to Williamsburg in the summer via Bedford Avenue - that area has always been like it could be 50 years back in time.

As far as the recommendations go, think the young woman does a great job in unorthodox - never seen her before I don't think. Am sure there must be a lot of talk about how they managed to depict such a closed community on screen. Did a really good job.

Will look into Fauda, never heard of it. Best thing I've seen in recent times on Netflix is still Ozark I must say. Watched Goliath on Amazon - great first season and then they slip a little bit but still enjoyable.
