If you've got questions on the U23s, B Team etc, interviewing him for the Patreon tonight, let me know...

I am sure that back in his playing days, there were rumours that he was on our radar. Different times pre-internet. There were always those rumours of signings that never came off, I could reel off a list of names.

Was Paul ever aware of this interest?

Can he explain the difference between B football and Under 23 as the squads are basically the same whenever they play. Can you also ask him if they have ever considered entering the B team in competitive competition such as London senior cup / Middlesex cup like Brentford , AFC , Barnet etc do ? This will surely benefit the players better then the current friendlies they play?

Poll: Now it’s slightly clearer cut who do you want as manager ?

something along the lines of :

"what constitutes success for [the U23's B team etc.] - is is purely pathways to the first team and beyond such as Eze, or is it more nuanced than that?"

additionally / follow up:

"When the U23's go on a rotten run of form such as when they recently lost half a dozen on the spin, what do you tell yourself, and the players in such moments? I understand that the primary function of [the U23's B team etc.] is to produce talent for the first team, and play in a style that fits the first team, not results but no-one likes losing, do they?"

Can we not knock it?

Not an under 23 question but if you have time can you ask him about that Rushden game when Ainsworth scored those goals, he ripped us apart second half, think he got a late equaliser

Could they give more notice for B team games and not do them at 2pm. Imagine it isn't his remit but he must have some influence. Some people would like to go and watch and it isn't possible the way they currently do it.

Is development football fit for purpose? The big clubs can steal anyone they like from lower down the pyramid, then leave them to rot in the backrooms until they sell them on for a premium to a club dazzled by buying from Chelsea/Man U/Liverpool etc.

How can pathways to first team football be improved across the game, not just at QPR?

Have they noticed that talented young players are more keen to join us due to the Eze/Willock effect, and seeing them getting noticed?

Could Hall explain why Eze's talent was not picked up in other academies? Was it simply that those academies had too rigid an idea of what kind of players they were trying to develop and Eze didn't follow the rules?

Can he explain whether and how the 23s, and other youth squads for that matter, mirror the senior squad's formation and style of play?

Are Rangers convinced that they can hold on to our youth players despite our decision not to to pursue Youth Level 1?

How do we compare to other clubs in the area in terms of recruitment, visibility and facilities etc?

When the U23's play at either Harlington or the Concorde club (new training ground), can we go and watch?

I know we can get into Wealdstone but just wondered if its possible to attend games as above?

Same for U18'as.

Thanks.

Is there any consideration of whether our U23s squad has become somewhat bloated, and this hinders the players development?

29 players (according to the offish website) seems like a large amount, especially for a squad that is so often supplemented by first-team players. By comparison in other teams in the Professional Development Leagues South have: Ipswich (24) Cardiff (18) Bristol City (15) Charlton (11) Millwall (17). Top three teams in PD League North: Sheffield Utd (12) Coventry (19) Hull (16). [All squads taken from offish websites or Transfermarkt].

Does having a squad overloaded with U23 players reduce opportunities for an U18 player to develop? Particularly where the U23 player blocking a pathway has little prospect of progressing to play for the first-team.

Or something like that. You're more articulate than me.

The U23s have used nearly 60 players thus season.
How do you get any continuity or patterns of play with so many changes week in/ week out.

No one can see him. His experiment worked a little too well.

Would it be possible to try and get a FL person (Rick Parry say) to do a spot explaining how they will be looking at owners, FFP, ticket prices, TV moves etc?

Another possible one could be someone from the PGMOL to explain why they are all so bad, the potential issues with VAR lite, how they are working at improving ref's coming through the leagues etc
