Yep...and Linfield in Belfast. Doubt they have much in common now though. On another note, the only time I went to the old Hampden Park for an England v Scotland game, the ground had a green end and an orange end - but both were trying to kill the England supporters. However after the game and fearing for my life, me and a few others were kindly taken under the protection of some lovely Scottish people, and we didn't buy a drink all night. This. They are the most insecure and easily triggered support base in football. Their club died in 2012 and they are now a tribute act.
They're well aware of how irrelevant they are outside Scotland, hence the constant neediness and banging on about how huge they think they are.
It hasn't yet dawned on them that they've hired a manager with less than half a season of experience, not what a massive club would normally do. Now a blind monkey could win 80% of games managing them, so Beale will probably initially look fairly successful, but expect some fun if they fail to get any nearer to Celtic anytime soon as seems likely. | | | |

They know. When they won the league two seasons ago almost every fan changed their Twitter name to something with "55" in it. Now they never felt the need to do this sort of thing when they won the 53rd or 54th, I wonder why.

I know we're all in Bash Glasgow Rangers mode at the minute, which I really don't mind very much given the circumstances, but to play Devil's Advocate on the whole Sevco thing...
If QPR went bust and reformed wouldn't we do exactly the same and claim our 1967 triumph, and all our other (if few...) successes from the club's history with the new entity?
What makes this any different? AFC Wimbledon claim an FA Cup Win and they existed at the same time as the old Wimbledon! Albeit for a short period.
