Ethan Laird is delusional that he thinks he has a future at Man United when he can't hack it in the Championship. Another player to add to list the list of players QPR have sourced from Man United that have turned out to be a complete waste of money and oxygen. How many more times must our club get burnt by them before they bloody learn?

Kind of morbidly looking forward to the Bristol City game to see how people react when a late Rob Dickie own goal sends us down. Might bring a pitchfork.

the upside is the huge clearout, the downside is that the value of some players will be reduced... I remember the club only getting 1.5 million for Peter Crouch when we went down to the third tier.... a year later Pompey got 5 mill for him... but overall offloading most of the squad is needed.

I would take up the option on Tyler Roberts. It would be worth the £4m just to see him drag his top knot down to Cheltenham Town next season.

I am okay with players speaking out; they are people, and we are supposed to live in a democracy.

However, what people don't understand or want to accept in a democracy is that people can speak back ... that's what makes it a democracy.

So, you are not cancelled (as you can still speak out), but this can lead to those opposing your position rather than accepting it. Therefore your actions will have consequences. You can act, but so, can others and they can do it against you.

If you backchat the fans, they can critique and blame you, as that is their right of opinion too. No free rides in democracy; you have to prove your worth.

zzzzzzzzzz

I kind of disagree here.

And in my disagreement I'm making him even more of a waster.

He is a proper good player - very modern day full/wing back.
Pace, can cross, cut's inside okay, get's in the box and will travel the tramline all day plus can tackle... slight reservations in the air and positional sense when defending the back stick but that will come.
Now all of that needs to be coupled with the right attitude and for the last 4 to 5 months since Daddy Boil left his has stunk worse than many.
That is disgusting.

If you ever give less than 100% then you are a cheat, a free loader and do not deserve a pampered lifestyle this career affords you.

I get the offload of 80% of this squad is needed and it grates on me that many will go on to have good spells in future clubs and earn more than most of us can only dream of. However the first to go need to be the rotten bits at the top.
The rebuild cannot be overseen by those who have presided over the most stagnant period this club has known.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Yep, Laird has all the potential to be quite good - but not for us. That attitude has seen my view of him plummet in recent months.

Let's face it a number of players downed tools when they knew Beale was leaving and obviously that happened before he was offered the Wolves job. Laird was excellent under him but like others, has not put in a shift or been fit really since.

Also there are bad runs and there are disastrous runs and let's not delude ourselves on that. This is an epic fail of a run.

Never knowingly right.

If I was a loan player I'd be working my socks off right now, to be in for a chance of either getting into my real team or securing a loan somewhere better. Clubs might look at the fact that they can't handle it when things go wrong / this woeful run / being out for half a season / Terrible attitude and think they're not worth taking on.

As for Laird unless he's absolutely setting the championship on fire (see Kyle Walker) then he's getting nowhere near their first team imo.

I'm sure I read somewhere that his Man Utd contract is up at the end of the season although Utd have an option to extend for a year.

I would have thought he would want to play to try and secure the extension or to get a new contract somewhere if Utd release him.

That would explain a lot

Beware players out of contract end of the season – see Grant Hall, Loyal Taylor etc, etc
