Palarse reappoint Hodgson on 13:35 - Mar 21 with 4123 views | stevec | Zaha has been carrying that side for too many years, it’s to his credit they’ve stayed up so long. They have got a relatively easy run in and the sort of games Eze should come good in assuming that injury hasn’t done for him. Always thought Hodgson used him sensibly behind Zaha, get the position wrong with him and you’d get run through at that level. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I expect the thinking is he might be able to grind out some draws and the odd win. Not sure draws will be enough though. Teams down there all seem to be getting the odd win. I can't ever recall it being so close.

I thought that was Zaha's default behaviour? Also I didn't think Hodgson wasn't such a fan of Eze.

Quite. Hodgson played Eze left midfield in a 442, so doubt Ebere is pleased, nor should we be. He’ll suffocate his talent, in the same way Viera ignored it. On Palace, it’d be criminal if they were relegated with that talent at their disposal. Always thought Viera was hugely underachieving. Think Hodgson will do so too, but not quite so badly. Touch and go.
Palarse reappoint Hodgson on 22:30 - Mar 22 with 3354 views | numptydumpty | I would have stuck with Veira. But if they had to get rid of him, they really should have had a ready made replacement option much more progression than Hodgson. Seems totally dim decision !!! Sounds a bit QPR like recruitment policy !!

Totally agree about Eze being played out of position and his game and attitude has really suffered .Plus you have Zaha sulking and not scoring which is a massive issue . On ESPN Stuart Robson said Zaha responded well to RH and they have to avoid relegation at all costs thats why he came out of retirement until May They are going to appoint a permanent manager when the season ends

Eze was class again yesterday. And As they said on MOTD it looks like he has filled out too. Bitter sweet … seems we have pssed away the boost he gave us from a cash perspective and as a place where progressive young talent would want to play.

Always been amused by this idea that Hodgson wasn’t good for Eze. Think I’m watching a different game sometimes.

Ya, I called that one wrong by the sounds of it. I don't watch the Premier League so was only going on what I'd heard, never a good idea.

I must hold my hand up and admit I was wrong also by thinking Eze was held back by RH playing him out of position etc. When I reported that ESPN said RH was given the job to try and keep them away from the drop zone , and he had a great relationship with Zaha and Eze so the top brass were hoping that would light the fire and it did. Eze is carrying the team right now and his goals are sublime which should get him lots of attention from the big boys in the Summer . If Declan Rice is being touted as a 150 million pound player what is Eze worth .

As good as Eze's been recently, I think Olise is the one who's really created the best chances for them.
