| Rohl? on 11:27 - May 9 with 5203 views | Paddyhoops | I think this fella is great and it’s quite interesting that he’s pretty much mirrored Martis career over the last two years. Inherited a shitshow . Got them out of it . Board room shenanigans. Same as ours . He finished two ahead of Marti yet he’s in huge demand . As for Marti 🤔🤔?? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Manage QPR or manage Brazil? Hmmm, tough one... Hang on a minute, though: Why not do both? If Michael O'Neill could manage Northern Ireland and Sjoke simultaneously.... I jest
| "Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1." |

A bit different tbf. SW were never in danger of relegation last season, whereas we were in deep sh1t until Christmas and again after March we were nervously looking over our shoulder again. Tbh SW had the kind of season I hoped/expected we would have, Comfortably upper midtable , flirting with play-offs, but never in danger of going down. They may have only finished 2 points above us, but our 2 seasons were poles apart.

How you get there is immaterial, the only position that matters is the final one.

Patently not true I'm afraid. SW's season (albeit with Rohl at the helm) leaves grounds for optimism that they could build on that and launch a serious play off tilt next season. Whereas our(even if we had kept Marti) was chaotic and very much back to square one again

Simple fact is Weds won one game we drew. That’s the entire difference - one goal. It has no bearing on what either team will do next season. Both will have new managers and changed squads. Your impressions are based on emotion and irrationality.

With respect I had already qualified my points in the light of the respective clubs currently managerial situation. You are talking about the destination while I am on about the journey. It's irrefutable that SW had a more stable season than we had. I do agree however, that previous season's form is not a guaranteed precursor for a successful season next - we emphatically proved that last August, September, October and a bit of November too.
