Rose has so many close shaves here it would be nice to see him finally slip the green jacket on but he slipped in 2 late bogeys today he can get them back early tomorrow with conditions softer.
Rory looks good but will have the dry fast conditions tomorrow will have to hang on or could pull away its anybodys guess.
Love to see Fleetwood or Lowry make that walk up 18 as Champion .

Stunning last few holes got one massive bonus with that birdie on 17 saved at least 2 shots there .
A bit wild off the tee for 2 days but chipping and putting incredibly well hope it continues for him .

This thread has slipped down a bit but today at Augusta is lining up to be the most exciting finish in years after Rory imploded yesterday .
Couple of places you cannot miss here and everyone of them are left except 1 and 18 where right side is dead and Rory managed to do that on 11 and 17 costing him 3 shots.
Cam Young should be xrayed for that horshoe in his ass such was his luck yesterday turning triple bogey into birdie at No 13 but he did play beautifully.
Even fat man Lowry got in on the act with that stunning ace and he is right there .
Scottie came from nowhere to be lurking but if Rory straightens out his driver and avoids the water I think he will defend his title and slip the jacket on himself | | | |

Keeping his drives straight is no easy task for Rory.On Friday he managed to recover on most of his wayward drives,but yesterday the wheels came off big time.While the others were burning up the course,Rory spent the day scrambling for pars and bogeys.
To be 90th out of 91 players for driving accuracy shows how much his short game is keeping him in the lead.
Hopefully a bit more caution today might give him another green jacket,but I hope it won’t be another septic winning it. | | | |

That was a proper, old school, back 9 on Sunday at Augusta experience. Nobody had a clue as to which of the half dozen contenders halfway through was going to prevail. It was compelling, but didn't seem to have the same level of tension as last year as Rory's career Grand Slam wasn't on the line this time around. I'd say most people were rooting for Rosie, but it wasn't to be. Lowry found reverse gear and pressed hard on the accelerator, just as he did in the final round last year too. At the end, Rory was expressing joy, as opposed to relief 12 months ago. |  | | |
