We are marginally better than last year. We have some good players. We've scored some good goals. we probably have a better manager than we did.

Two points better off than last season (so far....). Highest points total since 2022.

Also, one point more than the 2009-10 season (57) which also finished in a decidedly mid-table fashion. The subsequent following campaign was positive iirc....

On the contrary , this fanbase is one of the most patient and passive there is considering what it’s put up with for the last 15 years or so .

I still like Mbengue and think he can be developed into a good right back. We miss his pace and physicality when not available.

Squad that includes Dunne, Edwards, (a fit) JCS, Mbengue, Madsen, (hopefully) Field, Chair, Kone, Burrell, (a fit) Poku, Vale, Smyth, Kolli…..we have a base for a good youngish squad to build for next season. And we know what we need to make it a good squad but do the powers that be see that too….

Add Emerson Sutton, Cian Dillon, guy on bench yesterday ( can’t spell his name) and 16 year old winger who also warmed the bench. Despite Boro and Swansea I reckon Tylon Smith breakthrough next season, did everyone see how quick he is before the stupid pen given. Oh and Akand Akin Akon, the big left foot Scottish centre half

Whole season of Illias with a point to make next season.

I'm still not getting the vibe that we will be troubling the play offs. Positives we have strikers that are progressing well and players like Vale starting to show some key skills and ability.

Edwards - Class and potential
Morgan, Kolli, Vale, Bennie - All shown continued promise
Kone and Burrell - Centre Forwards that score goals

Mbengue - Potential although currently flawed

Stephan - Understated leader that has had an influence


The fans - Seems to me this season, at games there is genuine support for the players, definitely less boo boys in attendance these days, which is great
