I just saw that Andre Dozzell is signing for DC United in the MLS when his Portsmouth contract expires in the summer.

My pompey friend has considered Dozzell to have done a half decent job for his club, and from what i can make out, was more appreciated at Portsmouth than here but am thinking he must have upped his performance levels a little, as you could not say Andre ever did much for ourselves.
Perhaps has done well because of his surname and we seem to have replicated that error in securing the services of aforesaid Monsieur Varane.
Think we were in for Ethan Mbappe recently too, or there were rumours.

Dozzell could always make good passes forward from deep in midfield, link play and keep possession, which wasn't appreciated so much when he was a Ranger, but other than Madsen we have been lacking in our midfield this season. DC United lost me the moment Rooney came to the club. Used to go to many games, not any more. This would just cement my decision to stay away from there. Been enjoying Loudoun United of the USL Championship locally...their Manager, Anthony Limbrick, most recently of Hartlepool, very complimentary after the game this evening on the QPR scarf I sported. USL much more a grassroots feel...with promotion/relegation coming soon as well... about time a league here went with it. Anyways, Andre...DC United...yeah...no thanks. | | | |
