The new government cabinet who are trying to force net zero on everyone flew from London to Manchester yesterday, why couldn’t they have got the train?

Once power envelops them it becomes ‘don’t do what I do do what I say’.

This thing in modern day films/tv where it's acceptable to just not have any kind of resolution.

Any writer who decides 'it's up to the audience' can get f**ked. Do your job. Write an ending.

Agreed.... I watched Lost from the first episode and I know towards the final few series' there were strikes etc but just before the final series itself aired, the producers proclaimed this great ending. Well, it was pants, clearly made it up as they went along and everything was spun with the tired old line of 'It was more about the journey.....'.
Sorry, that's just BS. It was a tired, cliched ending that was about as imaginative as Bobby Ewing spending a year in the shower.

The bloody price stickers that Record & Tape Exchange stuck on their vinyl record sleeves for decades: think they used superglue as you can never get them off without destroying the sleeve.

I miss the branch they had on Goldhawk Road: many hours spent shifting through the basement stock.

Beanos in Croydon was my chosen second hand record shop. Much missed even if I do download all my music these days.

Fireworks on November 5th are my favourite of the genre closely followed by ‘Merry Xmas from our family to yours’ in matching pyjamas.

Hot on the heels of ‘influencers’ we now have ‘auditors’.

I’m not against the filming so much but it’s the deliberate, in-your-face, provocative, confrontational nature of it all and the fact that like influencers, they seem to think it’s a job.

Gran admitting she put it about in Italy before she met grandad.

The “Mcaines” are family, blatantly ripping off that scene in jaws.

Any ad that shows the kids as in charge, spoilt brat making dad go through the shopping an item at a time, same as the water ad with all the kids telling the grown ups off, I would have got a wallop for taking to an adult the way some kids do in adverts.

The fat kid and his entire family in the on the beach ad, ditto the “jet2”’families, teach your kids how to eat properly!

Charity ads “just £30 a month” by the time the donkeys, bears, kids in Africa, dogs, medical sans frontier have all appeared in the same set of ads you’d be skint.

Anyone else fed up with the quality of ads at the moment.

Charity ads are the worst, its enough we have several days of Red Nose whatsit without all this other stuff.

Also, I notice the CEO's of most of these earn mega money compared to the rest of us. So, you see, for them, charity does begin at home, their personal homes.

AI says they earn this ...

Alex Perry (formerly Steve Gray), Nuffield Health, ~£1.2M – £2.0M+
John-Arne Røttingen, Wellcome Trust ~£580,000
Sir Paul Nurse, Francis Crick Institute ~£460,000 – £470,000
Professor Kristian Helin, Institute of Cancer Research ~£450,000 – £460,000
Sarah Jones, Anchor Hanover Group ~£400,000 – £420,000
Michelle Mitchell Cancer Research UK, ~£240,000 – £260,000
Lynn Perry Barnardo's, ~£210,000 – £220,000
Hilary McGrady, National Trust, ~£210,000
Gemma Peters, Macmillan Cancer Support, ~£200,000
Paul Farmer, Age UK, ~£190,000

See misery pays, pays the CEO's that is.

I’m currently wanting to put a brick through the TV screen every time the ‘couple’ from the travel insurance ad come on.

I’d like to think there’s a special place in hell reserved for the dozy ‘wife’: “Ah, but remember what you forgot last year”. What did he forget last year? A vial of strychnine would be my bet.

Also, the smug, self-satisfied git wallowing in a post-cremation bath: “Smart cookie, that Millie”.
