By happy coincidence I'm working from home tomorrow so should be able to catch the 2pm (here) game for once. Unless my 9 month pregnant wife goes into labour...

So what better time to lose my match thread cherry. New day, new dawn, 2-0 to the real hoops, Charlie to score first.

Good manners from Reading to not try and beat Warnock in potentially his last ever game in charge at a football club.

I've seen more movement off the ball in a game of subbuteo. 1 goal should do it.

I'm a fan of Fer but this one of those "bad Leroy" games. Time for Charlie and Chery

Same team with no focal point for 3rd game in a row... Shall I even bother to watch the 1st half?

As expected!

2) Hall looks good again
3) Glass of rioja.

I think the game has improved in the last few minutes.

Admittedly, it is half time and I am watching some pups having a kick about.

Pretty tedious so far, Warnock has certainly tightened us up.

Glad we don't play in that out of town shopping centre every week.

Hoilett looks pretty good though, and Phillips looks like if he went out wide he could do something. Austin for Fer, Chery for Ale..

The way this game is going, Reading 1-0 all over it. Story of our season. Compete but ultimately can't score for sh*t.

Bored as fck with setting up and playing to not get beat. No goals in this team? Not playing this way - we're not even playing with a plan of how to score with no Austin we're just accepting that we won't/can't

The commentator just said its pretty equal just needs a spark. We have a spark. He's called Austin.

It's a plan FFS. Sorry to bang about it but keep the faith.
Neil Warnock's red and black army.

Strong and stable my arse.

Nice to see Ollie doing his nut about our play going forward - players not getting ahead of the ball and trying to create something. He's dead right too, we do rely far too much on Austin.

Hardly surprising it's dull. Of our front four, two of the laziest professional footballers you will ever see in Phillips and Fer, Hoillett who seems to have no idea what to do when he does have the ball and Petrasso who has been totally ignored despite being in acres of space and understanding that simply making an effort and running at defenders with the ball will cause teams at this level problems.

So our 'plan' is to wait for a player that you've known all along won't be fit enough to play for most of the game? Really? Is that the best plan we could have mustered?

I actually think Hoilett's been our best player - completely stunned to have written that.

Who or what is sponsoring Reading?

Looks like the Oil Barons' ball or something.
