Jan Mlakar on 15:21 - Jul 24 by Northernr | This is the problem with trying to lump everybody of a certain age or background together. Hemed didn't look arsed to me, and that's a risk with bringing in a 30-something player who's made his millions in for a final pay day at he end of a career. But then Furlong was a fcking God for us. Asking a kid like Di Carmine or Sahar to come into a struggling team and carry it was too much for a young kid, but then Taarabt was incredible. |
always about balance, i think if we get Hogan in as well who knows the league that will be decent failing that despite him being crap second half of the season I'm not against going back in for Wells if the money was right

Agree about Wells - just wouldn't let him take any pens though!

Jan Mlakar on 15:37 - Jul 24 by isawqpratwcity | From that YouTube, he made scoring look simple, by being in the right place at the right time. Even better, his assists picked out the bloke who was doing the same. Looks encouraging. So, how 'official' is this? |
Sean works for Talksport and is a QPR boy. Very reliable and broke the Furlong story
Jan Mlakar on 16:03 - Jul 24 with 2210 views | timcocking | With a bit of luck, we'll start the season with not a single player i know in the team.
Jan Mlakar on 16:04 - Jul 24 with 2203 views | Philothesuperhoop | Watching the show reel he is prepared to stick his head in for the ball and is six foot...so that could be useful in the Championship - plus having anyone who can run one on one with the keeper and score would be useful.

i know, this is good news - although the pressure to pick our scapegoat early will be on. Dom Ball was an early frontrunner, but everyone says he's actually all right. So my money's on Barbet.

Given that at one time or other last season I'm sure you gave a shellacking to every player, that may not be a bad thing Tim!

If Hall keeps starting I think he will win that crown judging on his pre season exploits

Jan Mlakar on 16:10 - Jul 24 with 2135 views | terryb | We didn't do too badly with two teenagers upfront scoring goals for us. Not that I'm trying to imply that Miakar is of the same quality as Allen & Goddard!
Jan Mlakar on 16:10 - Jul 24 with 2137 views | enfieldargh | apparently a behind closed doors friendly with BHA first team today, drew 2-2. Maybe they left him behind at Harlington

Eze is still number 1 contender for that

Curious who actually scored the goals for us in this one.
Jan Mlakar on 16:22 - Jul 24 with 2021 views | francisbowles | Just read that Brighton paid £2.7 million for Mlakar in January.
Jan Mlakar on 16:22 - Jul 24 with 2017 views | WokingR | Speculation is irrelevant as it doesn't really matter how good he is. We'll soon knock it out of him and ruin him.

Les locked him in the toilet. Considering our status he looks a pretty good loan.

So when he bangs in the winner at Wembley in May against Luton, they would probably consider selling him to us for around £5m. Things are looking up already.

aha, but can he go 1 on 4 with our keepers? I think not!
Jan Mlakar on 16:43 - Jul 24 with 1794 views | bosh67 | Two observations here 1. Can he play in goal? 2. If we do loan him in does Ainsworth actually have any spaces available if we then sub-loan him to Wycombe?

Good move for both parties. He'll certainly have plenty of opportunity for minutes.
