I would quite like Villa to go down. Obviously there's the John Terry factor, but they were also weirdly arrogant during their time in the Championship. A lot of their supporters became convinced they were one of the biggest clubs in the world and we had to put up with a lot of their fans being complete kno bheads over our Wembley allocations - we didn't deserve anywhere near as many tickets as them because we were a tinpot, two bob club, and they were going to have thousands in our end.
My wife's from that part of the world, and I was on a stag do with a load of Villa fans, a couple of whom spent the best part of a day telling me that the Premier League needed Villa in it because they were such a massive club, and it wasn't right that clubs like Watford, Bournemouth and Burnley were playing in a higher division. Completely delusional. That said, I know some really sound Villa too. |  |
