Missed the play off final at Wembley as i was in Rome, but made sure (thanks to a Rangers fan on here) that both my father and son went, and were 4 rows back from behind the goal.

I have a copy of the big match live on itv of that back in the folks gaff. Back in the day it was one or two games live depending on a cup game been shown too. Think it was saint and greavsie hosting with a smug Dennis law in studio giving us no chance. He was eating pie by the end of it.

Been going since 1970 but had to fit it around work etc for many years.
So there's been a few,
5-0 over boro'. Didn't even know we had a game until I heard the result the next morning as I was driving to Gatwick.
The 5-5, the 1-0 Tarabt masterclass false 9 at the scum which I watched on a hotel lobby computer in Baltimore. The Championship decider at Watford which I listened to online in a room in Canada. The Hillsboro promotion which I gave a swerve as, up to then, I had never seen us win outside London and did't want to jinx it. There are many more.
BUT the big one for me was the 6-0. It was way before the internet, had missed the football results on the world service, I was in a hotel room in Abu Dhabi and heard the local paper being pushed under the door. Leap't out of bed to search the results and thought it was a misprint!
