We could very easily be at least 4 down at the moment but for appaling finishing by Oxford

Agyei shoots wide.

Other ens Smyth's cutback from the byline finds Oteh but he's stretching and it's wide.

Could have comfortably conceded three or four goals here the sitters they’ve missed.

Quick flash of the old Paul Smyth there though.

Is this the same Oteh who got some minutes last season?
Or it is a younger brother who has never kicked a ball before?

Poll: With no leg room, knees killing me, do I just go now or stay for the 2nd half o?

Oteh not good enough, alfa needs a loan. Smyth would keep about. Kane and Amos just not good enough don’t do anything that well both very 5 out of 10. Gubbins could progress well.

Bettache looks a really good talent.

Smyth and Bettache out of the subs have impressed for me.

Sadly I think it's the end of the road for Oteh - hopefully he can restart his career at a lower league club.

I just don’t think it’s going to happen here for Oteh.

People have short memories - cast you minds back 13 months: people were suicidal about pre- season. Get a grip one and all

Don’t think anyone lost their grip! But if you think Oteh is a footballer, or Amos is any better than a pretty academy player I think you wrong

Quick free kick sees Rangers sound asleep. Kelly saves, but that was poor.

Last season our defence leaked goals but at least in attack we scored with gay abandone.

After watching todays game, I can't see our defence being any better than last season and will continue to leak goals. Sadly , I cannot see our attack being anything like last season.

Hopefully the next week or two will bring some reinforcements for the attack and the defence? If not I think we are in for a very rough season

Smyth does well on the left but his cross is to no-one. Keeper deflects it away anyway.

Based on the texts (thanks Brian)

1st half - wasn't too bad, with what was close to our first choice team
2nd half - all the faults of last season and one significant additional one.
We don't defend set pieces very well, especially corners
Defensive errors are always just around the corner
Without Eze, unless Chair and BOS do something special we don't look that creative
We've bought 1 striker, but if he doesn't score you wonder where the goals are going to come from. Oteh seems a long way from a Championship level striker, no sign of Ramkilde, who was always intended as a back up
The squad looks lightweight and short on experience, which it is.

Caveat - it was a pre-season friendly (remember Borehamwood?) and their preparations started a lot earlier than ours.
Even so, it looks like we need to strengthen some key areas.

Well that was truly shocking.....the stream!

Didn't see much of the match.

I won't be happy paying £10 to watch Plymouth on another dodgy stream.

I imagine that letting Oxford beat us was part of the impending Dickie deal.

We don't just need a good defender, we need a leader in defence to marshall and b0llock in equal measure.

Poll: Kitchen threads or polls?

We have had 40 plus goals taken outta the team with Wells , Hugill and Eze not being here and our defence looks just as bad .... tad concerned.

AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!
Poll: best number 10 ever?
