Could be a meniscus tear, rather than an ACL, he seemed to jar the knee on the ground. If it is a meniscus problem, I had this injury when playing walking football recently and pulled up in a similar way to Luke. My injury was diagnosed through an MRI scan, takes about 6 to 8 weeks to heal on its own, can be longer if surgery is required. Let's hope it is not too serious, as he is starting to get his game together this season. [Post edited 18 Oct 2020 19:58]

Yes the years are rolling by and youth is in the rear view mirror, but still able to bang in a few goals. Plug for older boys, if you are aged over 50, and want to play football at a slower pace than veteran football, have a go at walking football, it's competitive, growing in popularity and great.

It's particularly frustrating after he finally made a case not just for himself but as a different type of 10 entirely to the classic Eze/Chair creative role he was being judged by in playing there. Using that free role to press and disrupt Bournemouth's build up made us much more proactive.
It's something Mourinho especially likes to do - Oscar, Fellaini, though surprisingly only briefly with Alli (who as Bosh rightly says was a monster for it under Poch while still being creative).
Also kinda feels like there could also be something in common with him and Alli in terms of character - too bright for their own good as footballers go - but I'd only be speculating really... | | | |

That is a shame hopefully its not quite as bad as reported, fingers crossed he is able to fully recover, thankfully with the squad as it stands we should be able to give him proper recovery time and not have to rush him back like we have with some in the past | | | |
