Remembering Rodney's hatrick match thread. 11:01 - Oct 24 with 19729 viewsfrancisbowles

As it is 50 years since my first visit to Loftus Road and we beat Birmingham 5-2 on that occasion, I am trying to see if my 'presence' can bring something like a similar result.

Anything that end in us scoring more than them.

Hope to have that warm glow tonight.

Because sometimes, like last Wednesday, he looks clumsy and ineffective?

Fair point, but he's far better than Cameron imo.

You're right but he does look better if he plays regularly.

So basically we were as shit as we were in the week but we got Wallace off before he could give away any penalties?

I honestly can't see where the goals to keep us up are coming from.
If you can't score even one goal in two home games against those two you've got problems.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Like watching the same game over and over at the moment.
Positives - Chair and BOS a bit better. Unlucky not to score with BOS's shot.
Negatives - barely creating anything, defence very lucky not to concede, a better team might've had 2 or 3.

I do think we're searching for form and confidence a bit, we badly need a nice win to settle things down. At the moment we look very ordinary throughout.

Bare bones.

Could they please for the love of god not play Hi Ho Silver Lining in an empty stadium after that. Coming from the right place but doesn't help.

Not complaining, because at least we didn't lose, but sometimes we made Birmingham look like an attacking team.

I know what you mean, but only 2 teams have a better defensive record than Brum so far this season. We do have problems, but I think a Warburton side will get goals. After Wells left we had this for a bit, but they started to flow eventually. I think it'll come. Deathly dull at the moment though.

Bare bones.

We’re one player away from a potent front line. I hope the missing ingredient is already in the club and just needs blending in.
