| Alternatives.... 20:54 - Oct 27 with 4366 views | Gloucs_R | Would we even consider changing a manager and backroom staff in the middle of a pandemic? Additional costs that we probably couldn't afford in this climate. Apart from Pearson, I couldn't name anyone who would be interested and within budget. | |

What do people hope to gain from that? Stuff like that makes me uneasy. We have already destroyed the confidence of Scowen and Lumley |
Didn't even see that. I hate that too. Bang out of order.

| Alternatives.... on 21:53 - Oct 27 by VancouverHoop | Management change before Christmas reeks of panic and, poor as we were today, we're not close to that. Most of these players have been together for eight games, maximum. Unless we're in the bottom three or four in December then we shouldn't even be thinking about firing the manager. There are reasons for optimism (though they were hard to see this evening.) Willock looks handy, perhaps a better bet than Bonne to partner Dykes. Dickie will, with luck, learn that he can't get away with the stuff at this level he's used to. Mostly we have a decent squad with potential, but they're having to learn to be a team on the job. There are going to be bad days (today and Coventry) and better ones (Bournemouth.) We can't do much to physically support the team, but we can be patient. |
Good post, Vancouver. Well done for staying optimistic. I was after B'mouth so I'm not going to get too down tonight. G'night all.

We need a bloke to sort a defence out and make us hard to beat I can’t see lee Johnson fitting that bill
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Why not ? Not exactly playing champagne footballer under Warburton We have to start building from the back , we need a leader to try and sort out the mess that resembles a squad of players that we are lumbered with

Ok we get a man sent off happens but he then got desperate again and 3-4-2 and play Albert as a right wing back it didn’t make sense again . He seems to be sodding around with chair poor bloke gone , left , centre , weird position then left then drag off , we gone from triangles to pass pass pass to basically hoof ball , Warburton always said plan b is do plan a better but there no plan . Also his interviews he seems so angry at the moment started with Clive’s and his pre match he looks peeved. Tonight felt like Preston it felt the team jacked it in once we fell behind and tonight exactly the same , personally I think he gone.

| Alternatives.... on 21:17 - Oct 27 by Northernr | This is the problem we'll have now. If you want to sack him, who is going to come and work with this squad, on this budget, with what little money we did have now spent. I've seen people suggesting Pearson, David Wagner and stuff like this - you're kidding yourself if you think they're coming here to deal with this. |
With what you said and what I saw tonight, there’s really only one man ready for this job. Send for Sol Campbell.
| Alternatives.... on 07:33 - Oct 28 with 1441 views | Gloucs_R | I think we're a pretty level headed lot on here. I get the impression that most of us want to give him more time but also sense that a lot of us are losing patience. | |

| Alternatives.... on 08:09 - Oct 28 with 1394 views | Metallica_Hoop | I'd not sack him. I quite like what we are trying to achieve after the years of shittery. I would however get some new defensive stuff going on. Two years of seeing professional footballers unable to defend set pieces is getting irksome. | |

| Alternatives.... on 08:29 - Oct 28 with 1362 views | TGRRRSSS | Defence has always been a problem for Warburton everywhere I think, now he can make us look "pretty" but now all the goals have gone one way or another and the goals are leaking. IN many ways there were 3 or 4 results last season (before Lockdown particularly, that maybe glossed over issues which are really blindingly obvious now. Not sure change is the answer and you can never know exactly whats going to happen but we've got to turn things round quickly, and I'm not sure we really have the players to manage... I said a few days back being dispassionate one of those sorts to wins a lot on bookies, you'd have been looking at us before the start of the season as a relegation candidate. Think there's a guy on here who does quite well one it. FreddieEddie or something... | | | |
| Alternatives.... on 14:10 - Oct 28 with 1273 views | Paddyhoops | Only one man for the job. Donald trump could be out of work next week. Bags of experience, talks a good game and takes no s**t from the press. The misogyniy, racism and ability to get everyone around him either sacked or jailed may present a problem going forward!! | | | |

Might be in the minority here but considering we had 10men and away from home I thought the effort was at least reasonable when we went a goal down, certainly far better than Preston last week. Too much of an over reaction to a hugely disappointing result, score early, we deserved to, and we are looking at an entirely different game. One thing we are definitely lacking is a bit of luck, surely must come soon.
| Alternatives.... on 15:37 - Oct 28 with 1158 views | RangersDave | let me state i dont want him sacked, but this is simply not good enough. Its quite sobering to think we are almost 1/6 of the way through the season, and have 3 teams with a game in hand immediately below us, and god forbid the meltdown if they win those matches. Yes we have new players, but we have also spunked quite a bit of money recently that could have given Manning and Bos a raise instead of spending £2m on a donkey. That might have helped our position and team stability somewhat. I fear for this season, i really do! | |

Eddie, we've got an impossible job for you which will almost certainly result in you getting sacked and destroying any credibility you had. Fancy it?
