Not films, but the haunting of Bly Manor and the Haunting of Hill house on Netflix are both very good.


I recommend the black and white version, The Haunting. Same source material, the Shirley Jackson book, but way scarier than the Netflix series. The soundtrack alone is the stuff of nightmares.

First time I saw event horizon I had to walk back from my mates house at about 3AM. Not a soul around - was absolutely terrified.
