Dad passed away 11:55 - Jul 20 with 6149 views

Sorry for this post but yesterday I lost my dad one day short of his 90th birthday. He'd been an R's supporter for 85 years. Due to ill health the last Rangers game he saw live was the play off final win in 2014 which I took him to so I will always have that memory.

My sincere condolences.

I was struggling to cope with losing my mum when a conversation with my cousin altered my perspective. As a child she was put into care. Today, she has no relationship with her biological parents. She told me that when her folks pass she probably won't even know, let alone care. However, she would trade places with me in a heartbeat as my feelings of loss highlight the depth of relationship I had with my mother.

So sorry for the loss of your Dad: you must have loads of QPR moments to look back on.
My old man struggles to get to many games now but I cherish every time we get to share Rangers together, regardless of the result. QPR are a large part of most of our families I think.
