I like that he's got plenty of games at this level, esp compared to a lot of our squad, and that he can cover 2-3 positions to give us some flex.
I expect he will play LCB for the 30 odd games JCS can't do, and I hope he's better there than at LB because whenever I've seen him play full back he's been crap. Clean slate from me though, ticks a lot of boxes for Ainsworth.
Thank goodness though he like the new training ground. Asked him a couple of times, just to make sure.
I know it's probably just me being miserable but why do they have to go on about it so much in each interview? We all know its a great facility. It was something that was needed for years, and it shows forward thinking. It just feels like the club/media team are trying to justify it in every interview. 'See look he came here because of the training ground etc' It doesn't need justification
Thanks -Yeah I went on the Oatcake last night to see what the Stokees had to say, very mixed opinions overall, I'm sure some of the posts saying he was crap were probably after a defeat, the instant reaction you get from unhappy supporters, I just keep reminding myself that everybody on here was questioning Clint Hills signing until he actually pulled the shirt on and left everybody in no doubt of the definition of total commitment.
Don’t know anything about this guy, other than what I’ve read since we were linked. If he can stay fit and he’s solid, he’s got to be an improvement on what we have. Given the mess we’re in, he seems, on the face of it, to be another decent signing.

Not an issue as he’s a defensive player just an observation. Morgan Fox hasn’t scored a goal for two and a half years. The goal came in an early round of the FA Cup. Can you guess where he scored it and against whom? Yes and yes! Boom boom!
It’s that RB position that is a massive concern and not least, some poor bastard has to play next to one of them. Rob Dickie has been all but destroyed mentally by the experience, who’s got the short straw with this signing?
Don't know why, but this feels like a good signing. Plenty of players have come here in the past with mediocre reputations and turned out to have been good for us. I think he might be another one.
The Stoke supporters don't it make great reading but that's how fans are....fickle and many not got a clue.
Look at the grief that Dom Ball got when he was here.....totally inappropriate & proper wrong and he was a good pro and team player plus we missed him when he departed.
