Budgies vs Rs Match Thread 15:01 - Dec 28 with 35400 views | CamberleyR | Surprised not to see one yet so here goes, thread virgin breaking his duck. Would love to be optimistic but Carrow Rd seems to be like a mirror to a vampire to us. Talking of vampires, hope to see a reaction from that Boxing Day horror show. 2-1 to them. Budgies vs Rs Match Thread on 14:29 - Dec 29 with 1838 views | benhurst | You'd have taken a point before the game but we played with fire far too much in the last half hour to deserve a win. I think Field getting booked killed us, him going off when Morgan was starting to fade (after an excellent first half) gave up control.
Budgies vs Rs Match Thread on 14:30 - Dec 29 with 1829 views | connell10 | Norwich ain't much are they ? They couldn't even beat a scratch team. I'd have taken a point at the the start and I'm more than happy with that.

Budgies vs Rs Match Thread on 14:20 - Dec 29 by Damo1962 | We have got to sort out the recruitment at our club. Can't fault anyone today for their effort...but we are so lacking in players who can do the simple football skills. |
Think we're getting there but it'll take a few more windows. We were abysmal in that half.
Budgies vs Rs Match Thread on 14:30 - Dec 29 with 1793 views | QPunkR | Would have gladly accepted a point before KO, especially with that cobbled together defence. But you can't help but feel frustrated at conceding in the last minute in such a brain-dead fashion after unconvincingly pissballing about in possession for the last half hour

Me too. Totally undeserved given what I saw though. So many areas of this team need attention. Great attitude, but you aren't winning many games if you have our possession stats...and shots on goal. [Post edited 29 Dec 2024 14:47]

Budgies vs Rs Match Thread on 14:32 - Dec 29 with 1638 views | mart_Goblin | Would have taken that before the game so no need t ok throw too many toys out of the pram. Night and day to Swansea but we looked shattered at the end . Players out there who ideally shouldn’t be so willing to take the positives. Morgan toast again after an hour so needs to strengthen. Had to take the captain off who was playing well but plenty of character shown there . Nardi , Dunne or Smyth for man of the match . Thought Jimmy was immense today Expected a shellacking when teams were announced so not as bad as some will make out. Still a long way off being a decent side though but can’t ignore the injuries at the moment . Squad lopsided and not good enough [Post edited 29 Dec 2024 14:34]

Budgies vs Rs Match Thread on 14:33 - Dec 29 with 1595 views | Malintabuk | Find some of this strange on here. Norwich have only lost 2 games at home in a year.... We have come here off the back of an horrendous performance with a cobbled defence and got a really good point Did we honestly think that we would dominate Norwich in that 2nd half? They can bring on players like Ashley Barnes, we bring on Bennie..... Let's get real, that was a well fought point, we nearly got all 3 ....Norwich just done to us, what we did to Preston, score in the last minute ... well done Rangers a good point in trying circumstances 👏
Budgies vs Rs Match Thread on 14:33 - Dec 29 with 1588 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Grab the point and go home. Annoying to concede so late, but it happens. With a make shift team it's a lot more than people were expecting.

Agreed, fair's fair - Fox was solid today. Paal was also far improved defensively for the most part

Any goal conceded is frustrating but let's be honest, Norwich missed multiple very good chances. The positives were that the players battled hard after such a poor performance at Swansea. These injuries are really hurting us so we'll have to really dig in and scrap for any points we can get over the next few weeks.

Steve Cook , Steve Cook ,Steve Cook if we had him we were winning that game and its going to be a rough road without his experience and leadership this spring. Morgan was just dead on his feet and should have been subbed and Verane is too careless with the ball to see out tough games. We won 2 or 3 of the of the 100 punts upfield that is nowhere good enough . Playing to hold out for a 1-0 win is worthless we needed a second goal but we just gave the ball to them like it was Christmas morning . Even Nardi had his brain fart today. We would have taken a draw before kick off but this feels like a loss right now
Budgies vs Rs Match Thread on 14:35 - Dec 29 with 1427 views | easthertsr | Superb defensive display from a makeshift defence. We've had to go both sides of the country in three days players running on fumes and have survived. After Swansea the players dug deep for that point. Please stop moaning guys you can't fault their effort today!

Generous! Decent, competitive first half, albeit without a shot on target, but a masochistic. knuckle-chewing second, which saw us deservedly concede and fortunate not to lose. Still, at least Marti is switching it up. His team goes from crap first halves, to crap second halves. Perhaps the club could do the decent thing and start charging half-price tickets. Overall, I guess, with the way things are right now, some of us'll take the point and feel grateful. [Post edited 29 Dec 2024 14:39]
