Does he fit into our strongest XI these days? I'm not sure he does any longer. We all know he takes a long time on the ball, and we look at our best moving quickly, not relying on dribblers. And, really, has he actually got any better in the last few seasons?

So your opinion is that Chair is far better than the other four attacking midfielders who seemed to do ok against Leicester. Good for you. My opinion (and others on this thread) is different: hardly ‘fabricating things’……. |

The only player that's playing consistantly well enough in a "similarish" position so far this season is Madsen.
Of the "wingers", best player probably Smyth.
So Chair gets in the first 11 on experience/consistancy and is also probably the hardest working player (in both directions) that we have. |  | | |

Chair carried this club for 2 or 3 years and works hard all over the pitch and in training according to Madsen. I think we would have been relegated without him. I wonder if his recent injury problems stem from some of that workload.
Still one of the first names on the team sheet for me, as recent performances have shown, but it's good to have choices. | | | |

Dear me, we play well for one (1) game without him and suddenly he's surplus to requirements. 'Standards' has been a buzz word on here this season. Nobody epitomises high standards on the pitch better than Chair. It wonderful that we now are no longer totally reliant on him as we once were. ƁUT he remains our best player and fist name on the team sheet when fit. [Post edited 22 Dec 15:22]
