Really poor performance against a very poor side and got what we deserved nothing.
Played like they just rolled from a NYE party, and fair play to Norwich they wanted it a bit more and slowed the game down when it was needed.
I have to say every dead ball hit the 1st man and in general every ball into the box was poor.
Only thing worse than the performance was the state of the pitch.
I do appreciate it is a lot of games in a short space of time but I think it is changes for changes sake at the moment in general, but that seems to be across all teams.

Morgan looked like a pub footballer when he came on . Most of them did today . Missed our goal . Had enough at that stage ., Norwich sh**housing was off the scale but unsurprising. As for the pitch … just shocking for this level of football. An embarrassment.
Not a glowing advert for this lot….
Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

Not one of our players should get more than a 3/10 for that heap of steaming shyte served up to a packed LR on New Year’s Day. Truly appalling ‘performance’. 1 point from 9 against Portsmouth, WBA and Norwich means Michel is now under huge pressure to get a result v Sheffield Weds on Sunday.
My thoughts exactly since the WBA fiasco.JS was moving parts around there hoping to win these 2 home games IMO yet we actually played worse and got nothing .If we draw or God forbid lose Sunday the knives could appear 3 weeks after our best performance in years how frustrating is that . 7 points out of 12 maybe 9 even could turn into 1 or 2 Jesus that would be bad QPR just simply start games like crap almost weekly ,normally fight back but last 2 games nothing earned what is the motivational speeches like its not working .

Morgan may have looked like a pub footballer but I'd counter the reason you noticed him was that he wanted the ball the whole time, always running into space, always giving an option,
Morgan was very good in first 10 minutes on pitch then lost may three if not four 50 50 balls, albeit one was a hospital pass from Dunne,
Morgan could have come on and hid behind his man and disappeared into The Bermuda Triangle in the middle of the pitch, but he didn't, as he has courage,
Probably best if only forward pass of the game, unlucky with deflection in defending 2nd goal but let's dig out the one player who showed some bottle today.

I thought he was good when he came on as well, at least at first.

3 poor games from QPR v struggling teams, does not bode well, we have created little, had no tempo, been lethargic, lack lustre and nothing much to excite the fans. that is the roller coaster of being a Rs fan. so much to look forwards too v the owls???

Burrell is joint 3rd Champ top scorer if you've not been watching this season!
Unfortunately, the other guy up top is League 1 level.
It would help if we had at least one goalscoring midfielder - or even one who could/would just shoot!
While we're hardly tearing up trees as an attacking force, a bigger issue is our porosity - we've let in more goals than anyone apart from Sheff Wednesday, who I'm sure we're all looking forward to welcoming to 'Loftus' shortly. (Worry not - I'm sure our astute tactical manager will have a terrifically cunning plan to stop Bannan ripping us to shreds again.)

Poor all round but Burrell couldn't trap a bag of cement.

Posted this on the match thread but feel it is appropriate here: I was at the game. There was no lack of effort from any player. There were poor and/or tired performances from some. There was also some good or reasonable performances from Hayden, Kolli, Nardi, Madsen, Mbengue and Kone. Smyth's pace is wasted when he has to cut in from the left and when he is trying to stop an opponent he needs to stop diving in and missing. Stay on his feet and keep with him. Burrell looks shattered, has lost his zip. Fatigue caught up with Jimmy and Norwich kept forcing him inside onto his left foot. ND also tired. Dembele tried hard but little came off. Poku ditto.

As I said on another thread I can’t see a game plan from this manager.
Away games are getting so predictable where we just don’t turn up. We have all witnessed our team having the worst loss record over the last ten years. These regular occurrences of abject performances with poor recruitment take its toll.
I have always felt, especially after Bulstrode that the club attracted too many takers and not enough givers. Holloway knew this though.

Agreed. I would add that we repeatedly took an extra touch which mostly wasn’t needed and so chances disappeared. Shoot sooner and we would have done better, as shown by Mbengues goal. The keeper was absolute rubbish but we failed to test him enough.

Really poor today. A lot of players who've been run into the ground and we don't have the squad to rotate them. Meanwhile other players have been rotated out of any sort of form or rythm.
Been poor since JCS went off at half time v Leicester. With just 2 in midfield we are v poor if we don't have anyone who can step up into the middle from CB
This. Just shows that we really do need a Ronnie or someone who can step out and allow our midfield to play a bit higher . Else we end up just banging it forward to kone and Burrell against two big CBs and wondering why that is not working!
I was cold and bored .

There's a goal scorer out there for sale this Month I hope?
Goal scoring actually isn't that much of a problem, it's down the other end. We're ninth for number of goals scored but only Sheffield Wednesday have conceded more.

I said on my post that most of them looked like pub footballers. We were rubbish from start to finish against a truly awful side . I like Morgan but he looked like someone who had very minutes in the team this season. He’s young and I’m sure he will improve. He’s shown he has the ability.

First half was poor from both sides. Very jaded performances and a real lack of drive or urgency. Norwich were shithousing it within about 10 minutes and looked like they'd be delighted with a draw. We looked the better team in terms of possession but my word it was a boring match. It was a joy to get out of my seat early to join the queue for a half time pint!
Their goal at the start of the second half should have spurred us on but we didn't lay a glove on them. How many tackles, headers, second balls did we win? How many good balls into the box? How many corners, free kicks did we waste? Did we even have a shot on target? It was a truly gutless, abject performance. We have hardly any characters in the side that will stand up and take responsibility. I'm not exempting the manager either. What was our game plan? Tactics? His substitutions actually made us worse.
I'd have taken these points and this position in the table gladly at the start of the season, but bloody hell , it's hard to love this side when they play like that.

. Alot of bigging themselves up in that video. Now the worse pitch in the league and the worse I've seen it in many years. Embarrassing. I would like to hear from the club exactly what's gone wrong and the plan going forward.

Played like Queens Park Strangers today.
Only two players that put in decent showings were Hayden & Mbengue. Rest of the team and the management staff - hang your heads in shame. That performance was totally unacceptable !!
I hate many of the imposters, we regularly seem to recruit to represent this club. Enjoy your very expensive cars, your very expensive lifestyles and your very expensive homes. Putting on that sh*tshow when fans are travelling in freezing conditions on our limited budgets to see this team play.
Stand up and be counted next time. Otherwise get your sideways moves out of here.
If players are reading, it looked like you werent trying.
Thats seriously not ok.
A sh*tshow on the pitch and clueless manager in the dugout, as he showed in his post-match interview. How can virtually every player be so sub-par? It's professionally incredible.
What a way to see in 2026 - thanks for nothing, Rangers! I've got a hangover, and I haven't even had a drink.

Our defence leaks goals. We hardly ever get a clean sheet.

Christmas was Leicester, and Leicester was Christmas. That’s us. That’s our culture and our mentality. Staff members on the touch line at full time. Unless we can persuade the Sheff Wed manager to put a Cifuentes mask on im starting to worry about that one.

Sounds like the ambition for the club is limited to massaging a couple of very fragile ego's,
Even so this does look like a decent Squad and we're half way through the season without a clear style of play or consistency in selection.

I think goal scoring is a problem. We had two up front and still couldn't score in normal time. If you can't score you are waiting to lose, as the opposition will always get chances. In fact if we can't defend we pretty much have to rely on goal scoring.
