My work colleagues husband is an Everton fan. They have been decent most ofnthe season, I think Everton could easily win that.
West Ham Leeds i say is much more likely home win.
Everton i think can still qualify for a European competition.

Wanted that result last night if only for the extreme angst Spurs friends will be going through all week.
I think they’ll scrape a result on Sunday but, poor as Everton have been recently (dreadful in their last game apparently), you can see a situation where West Ham score early and Spurs just collapse. Unless they can get Maddison out there from the start they have nobody capable of passing the ball forwards. Two dire wingers who might push the ball past someone and lob a cross in but nothing for any serious team to worry about. If Everton are as up for it as they should be it ought to be a very long day for Spurs. | | | |

Unfortunately I do think Spuds will do it with a draw.
IF they do survive then it's all at the foot of Aston Villa's door. I do understand what they did and making a European Final was their priority that week but it does rankle me.
It is quite ironic that after all theor last day dramas of recent times it falls on Everton to potentially decide the fate of Spuds....... I do hope the Toffees are bang up for it and Leeds very much on the beach.

I've not changed what I said.... I can't see Everton winning it as their season is done as I suspected.
That doesn't mean I don't WANT them to win it.
Jesus I'd consider donning a blue shirt, putting a matchstick between two stanley blades and joining them in the away end if it meant it would help them winning.
If nothing else the Sky bods for viewing figures will be creaming themselves and it gives Paddy Power another 5 days for some great pizztaking. | |
