My partner has never taken on HRT.
Reason being - her mum has had breast cancer which can be a genetic condition and there was previously some evidence that taking the HRT could cause a higher chance of catching breast cancer yourself, in these circumstances.
Hence, why she has experienced very difficult hot flushes and times where emotions can be more problematic.
As has been said by a few, similar to the experience garnered by most of us, when watching QPR !!! |
Mrs E17 had ovarian cancer, surgery and an early menopause at 34. She was on HRT for 15+ years, and the breast cancer risk was something she was very aware of. As a result, with her family history, the hospital and GP made sure she was checked regularly, had the lowest risk HRT dosage and was managed well.
I know a few peope in this space who support women with non medical intervention - DM me if that might help. |  |

They only get help if they want it.My wife heard stories about hrt treatment causing cancer so she didn’t seek any treatment at all.
On the plus side,I had a month in Australia watching cricket just to get a break from her mood swings.And New Zealand and India.They weren’t really swings as she was irritable all the time. |

Am there my self and she is utterly utterly nuts very little logic. The behaviour of a teenage girl everything i do is the wrong thing. Have honestly kept my family together throughout it. She was slightly emotionally unstable before but now !!! My advice is.get hobbies.get out the house ,nod and smile a lot and don't have free will !! Also dont state facts as.regards as a.man our hormones have been dropping off for years and we get on with it
Also don't call it reverse puberty thats actually dangerous if some what fun. This has been almost cathartic writing this down. I shall deny all of it if ever.used against me. I have said many times to her, the chances now are from zero to slim, but she is not changing her mind.
She is the type to never go to the doctors unless she is practiclaly at deaths door.Had a similar scenario with my old mum. Never went to the docs until she was a week from her maker and seem to have ended up with someone who has exactly the same issues
