I thought that was ok as a pre season first half. We were clearly the better side.

Now to see what the second half with a new 11 brings.


I normally agree with everything you say dmm, but I thought that first half was very poor.

Most of those players knew they were only going to play for 45 minutes, and they had 45 minutes only to fight for their shirt.

I thought that half was casual, and we drew it against very poor oppo.

Not at all. JS will be rotating minutes - we're still 4 weeks away from our first competitive game against Wall. At this point in pre-season players might be trying to impress but it won't be in the games, but the training and their attitude in the other 167 odd hours in the week they're in Austria.

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

Not sure if thats so everyone gets a chance or it might be the way of thinking.

I see Obikwu is on the bench. Hope he gets at least fifteen minutes. Personally have no idea what sort of forward he is, so be nice to see him get a bit of a run out.

That was really poor from us. Begins with JCS with a shocking pass out for a throw. They then slip in the winger who cuts back but we block it out close to the left hand post for a corner. JCS not at it .

I understand that, but we don't go from 0-100 in a few days of pre-season. I'd much prefer to see progression and momentum up to the start of the season than be overcooked when competitive games happen.
