Lloyd is a forward not a striker per se so expecting him to score 10 goals every season to judge him is unfair
Granted he should be scoring the goals those easy chances, but the way we are playing at the moment it will come, same for Kone.
It is something like Kakay, a limited player a lot would say out of his depth and not quite championship, but they always put in a hard honest shift and fight for the badge. What’s not like if you have some of these as squad players and will try to do a job everytime the manager ask of them |  |

Alfie Lloyd in my opinion has earned a new contract. Done exactly what the club has asked of him, gone out on loan, put in the hard work, come back to the club improved on what he was and now being given chances. Keep pressing the coach and giving 100% and as others said he will get chances to start games. Last season people wrote off Adamson, he has looked very good this season and I think Lloyd will do the same
We have another player who could learn a lot from Lloyd and he too would be getting regular appearances in the first team squad. |

nobody nows it for a fact but the diff is hes playing every week and the other option last got injured in the warm up for the left overs in a dev game, so hes doing something right otherwise he wouldnt be getting on the bench and getting decent time on the pitch , funnily enough same as the end of last season when they was both on the bench and lloyd got on the pitch ahd plan b didnt .
the main diff between the two is if we are protecting a lead lloyd comes on and keeps the oppostion deper than kolli can manage as he will chase back get involved the other option dosnt hep when he looses the ball hands on hips have a winge it wasnt his fault and the oppostion are then pushing us back for the rest of the game , but yes his goals stats are very good when he does get fit and play [Post edited 1 Sep 10:27]

I think Buzz has the pace that scares the holy bejaysus out of defenders, he does put a shift in and like so many strikers at some point or another, he needs a goal at the moment. Think when he does, he'll be back on track.

Fair play to Lloyd getting the deal. Got to admit that I thought he would be sold but he is exactly what this team needs off the bench, a willing runner.
What he has got, and can't be coached, is a great attitude. Look at the Blackburn game, on for the last half hour, and ran the channels, pressed and harried their CBs. Nightmare to see come on.
If he can get the team 4 or 5 goals off the bench then that would be fantastic.

so ive seen every game hes played every games hees been hauled off at half time every time hes cramped up after 30 mins and im wrong ok mate you have a keener eye than i do and the people i reg travel with who all say pretty much the same thing , actually think its sad for him if he dosnt go on at least loan today as , whats he looking at odd mins in the dev sqaud if hes lucky till jan , and how many chances has he had now ? two coaches bombed him out saying theame thing yep guess they are wrong as well , missed last two pre seasons due to issues . injury
sept now and still not fit , yet hes a amazing benefit to the first team just give him another chance lol come on mate , he obv hasnt got much ambition to become a footbaler if hes happy with that offering for the next few months or longer | |
