Well perhaps being a little churlish as we are 1 up... but we have played very much like a team with too many changes...IMO we have been very slack, very wasteful and very scrappy
Far too many misplaced passes... and we are allowing Cardiff to stay in this game
Cardiff look for good in possession but are so open at the back, and with a little more composure we should be 2 or 3 up
I realise we have to rest players, but surely the amount of changes made tonight is not working

I thought that a couple of times about Vale last season and the 2nd half ended up just as bad as the first!
His performances are a lot like his corners - either 8/10 or 3/10. I seriously reckon the kit man puts his boots on the wrong feet about 25% of the time | |

I think Cardiff are probably unfortunate to go in losing - fairly even game so far, some good attacking from both teams.

Sorry but I must have watched a different first half we should be 3 up at least if better decisions were made or players stayed calm and found the corners .
Lloyd is showing why he is behind 3 or 4 players in the dept chart has pace but very little else .Kone with Lloyds pace would have 2 goals by halftime .
Mbengue is quickly playing his way out of the line up caught sleeping so many times in the last 2 games its nowhere good enough.
Still a great game for us and the few nuetrals watching ,if we survive the first 10 minutes we could win this easily IMO |  | | |

Thoughts on the first half?
For me it has been quite an open game.
We're at 43.4% possession
had 9 shots so far
Lamptey has played really well
Kamara has too
Good to see Burrell score and he has led the line well
Saito more dangerous when coming central and to the right side
Dunne was close early on from a corner
Lloyd missed a decent chance
Vale missed a couple too [Post edited 2 Sep 20:43]

Bit worried about how easy it has been sometimes to pass through our lines with Tanner seeing alot of the ball. Saito playing well. Lamptey class.
Lloyd working hard but I would bring on Kone or Obikwu maybe on 60 mins. They will start chasing the game if score stays the same.

A half with a whopping number of misplaced passes from both teams,,
Cardiff comms gave Saito man of the half..which is probably fair, was finding space in the middle.
Vale a bit dissapointing so far, and Lloyd looks like the same player.. actually made the chance he had well, but the finish was awful, but lots of games coming, so if we can keep winning and share the minutes, that is a result.
