Saw the game on tv, and I think theres some harsh comments on here. Personally, I think it was one of our better performances. Away to the league Leaders, with at least 6 starters missing. We were never going to dominate this game. Kamara showed again what a player he is. We were much better in the second half because of him. Again, our season depends on our fitness. A good point earned methinks. |
As others have said tough to watch at times, until Kamara came on. Great game from Scarlot, very much involved in the lead up to Poku's chance but also involved defensively breaking up play.

I dont really have an issue with it, remember we have mens and women's teams these days and a lot of girls and female fans have bought that kit. I guess the problem was that West Brom is Navy Blue and white stripes which rules out the hopes and has a dark solid navy back which rules out the black |  | | |

Typical of the organisation when Rs come to Hawthorns. 1 time we were forced to go round 3/4 of the ground to get to our car parked between ground and M5. Plenty of time for any WBA mob to congregate. They didn't, fortunately. |  |

Good draw that Handsome Ron and JCS share the spoils for MOTM. We are a much poorer attacking team with Varane in it, he just can't do the passing. the difference between us and the very best sides is out wide, appreciate Smyth injured.
Not a great game from Vale but he puts in the hard yards defensively and he is available. Much needed 6 day break now |

Bloody awful Ref, some ridiculous decisions.
Scarlett certainly deserves a mention, played well and offered more than Smyth has in the last two games. Also Charles was good, he’s growing in confidence.
Poor goal to give away, Cirkin should have closed down quicker.
Given the injuries and a few players still not fully match fit, a point is a good result.
Big game next week against Preston, 3 points from that will be a fantastic start to the season. We then have a couple of weeks too get players back.

Yeah decent point. Courtesy of Riley’s podcast just realised WBA only lost to Middlesbrough this season and drawn against us and Charlton. They’ve beaten Burnley, Watford, Derby and Norwich. Also a better result for us than last season at the Hawthorns where we lost in s limp display.
I still think we still haven’t quite clicked yet with all the niggles and needing to rotate. There’s more to come from this squad. |  | | |

Cirkin was also guilty of this with Ng. Collectively the defence (despite many changes in personell) have defended very well INSIDE the box (only one goal conceded) But have been slow to close down on the edge of the box, although this may also be a cdm issue. You can talk about 'worldies' all you like, but if you block the shot in the first 3 ysrds, the ball aint going anywhere near your goal. | | | |
