They had the possession but arguably our chances were as decent.
Cirkin did very well as did the two centre backs.
We seemed to be overwhelmed on our right defensively and we needed more from Vale and Poku to support Mbengue.

Good draw that Handsome Ron and JCS share the spoils for MOTM. We are a much poorer attacking team with Varane in it, he just can't do the passing. the difference between us and the very best sides is out wide, appreciate Smyth injured.

Two points on Vale. I'll be the first to admit he is not playing at the level het did last year, but I have a strong suspicion he is one of the few outfielders currently being able to go a full 90, hence him staying on. And then, might just be a case of trying to get him to play through the bad patch, because he will then be a good asset to the team. Some players need to get out of the firing line when in poor form, others need minutes to ride it out. I think Vale is of the 2nd type, because I don't see him dropping his head or giving up. |

Nice little cameo from young Scarlett as well... and Poku did the majority of the game as well
Defence though was immense... mad Ben and Cirkin had decent games... and JCS was good... but MOTM was Edwards, best you can say it was a "Dunne" like performance... a real class act
Special shout out to Charles, for all WBA possession he wasn't really tested, but what he did was superb. And his command of his area is 1st class

Saw the game on tv, and I think theres some harsh comments on here. Personally, I think it was one of our better performances. Away to the league Leaders, with at least 6 starters missing. We were never going to dominate this game. Kamara showed again what a player he is. We were much better in the second half because of him. Again, our season depends on our fitness. A good point earned methinks. |  |
