| Como 19:26 - Oct 21 with 4372 views | QPRVAS1 | Watching Como thrash Man Utd in the champions league got me thinking how far they've come in the last few years. It wasn't that long ago when they signed a player from us on loan. | | | | |

| Como on 09:09 - Oct 22 by thehat | I must admit I love watching Man Utd struggle. I think I hate them more than Chelsea and Luton. It all goes back to the Eric Cantona goal in the 112th minute. Not that I hold grudges or anything. |
You're not alone mate. Maybe we could start some sort of bitter anti fan club. Get together in the Crown for all their games and laugh at the Shepherd's Bush plastics.

| Como on 09:23 - Oct 22 by Hoopstar | Hearing the fall out between players and management is hilarious. There's a reason Bruno Fernandes has never made it to the absolute top of the game, the bloke can't run. Having him in midfield is playing with 10 men defensively. Any team that can press effectively, and pass sharply with movement, is going to absolutely thrash that shower Utd have put together. Absolutely here for it. |
Bruno blasted the management for the game plan not pushing Como back with the press yet he has never defended anything in his whole life and as Carrick rightly points out their second goal was a direct result . United have tried everything but with Martizez (wa*ker ) and now Fernandez (bigger wa*ker ) both unloading on Carrick and his staff the end is near IMO

| Como on 14:33 - Oct 22 with 1072 views | NorthantsHoop | Como look a team well coached etc. Man Utd look a disjointed, overpaid, expensive set of misfits and have done for quite a few years now. They are almost slipping into that early to mid 70s malaise that saw them relegated to Division 2. No doubt they will sort of bounce back with more money thrown at it, in the hope it sticks. | | | |
| Como on 17:15 - Oct 22 with 907 views | FredManRave | Latest news is Eddie Howe for the Utd job and Carrick to Man City on a 5 year, unbreakable deal, as punishment for them cooking the books. | |

| Como on 18:21 - Oct 22 with 840 views | LoftusR | Went to Como a couple of weekends ago with the Mrs for a football weekend. It was arranged by Mystery Awaydays who do a package trip including flights, hotels and match tickets (all easily done yourself if you want to). Anyway their USP is that you don't know where or who you are going to see until a week or so before. We completely lucked out and got lake Como in late September. Lovely. Anyway what a great place to go and watch football. Only a small stadium with 12k capacity just a 10 minute stroll around the lake from the old town centre and playing in blue and white. All very QPRish. They were playing Roma who were top of the league with Como being 5th. In the end the game was a bit dull and ended 0-0. Roma had a player sent off around 60th minute and then blocked with the lowest of low blocks. However the match day experience is slightly different from a day down the bush😄. It was an early kickoff on Sunday 12.30. Which then meant coffee and pastries in one of the many squares for breakfast. The square quickly filling up with Como fans and plenty of early beers. By 12.00 it was in full swing. Ultras, flags and fireworks. After the game it was lunch by the lake a few wines and a bit of shopping (to keep the Mrs happy). One thing Como do brilliantly is market themselves. There are four very high end clubs shops around the old town and some excellent merch. The Mrs even bought a Como tee shirt. Blue and white of course. Had a good chat with lots of fans who all new QPR in one way or another. Finally I did note that on the flight out around half the passengers were groups of lads heading to Milan for a match. I know Mel does a lot of this but I didn't realise how much of a thing it is. So as we all know seeing Rangers in Europe may not happen again in my life time🙁 but do round up a few friends and jump on a random flight some where and have a laugh and Como is a good a place as any. I’m going inter vs como in 3 weeks , can’t wait , watching como was a joy yesterday but like a lot of these teams their best players and manager will be poached. | |
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

| Como on 01:20 - Oct 23 with 529 views | SydneyRs | Oh, so this thread isn't about my neighbouring suburb of Como? It is actually named after Lake Como in Italy, as its quite a picturesque place. Fun fact! | | | |

Instantly trying to blame others too. Utd will inevitably one day sort themselves (City being punished will help) out so enjoy, these are rare times.

Went to Dusseldorf last weekend. Met quite a few groups of Brits doing the weekend football beer tour. We missed out on Wuppertal 4th tier game on the Friday night however Fortuna Dusseldorf v Saarbruken on the Saturday was a good game. 3-1 to Saar. 34,500 in a 55,000 stadium not bad for 3rd tier football. 5,000 away fans made for a lively game. Sunday Moenchengladbach v Hoffenheim. BM are truly awful 6 games in zero points. Hoofenheim had around 150 fans amongst 43,000 attendance.BM ultras pretty dull compared to the 3rd tier. The stadium is situated miles out of the most decrepit old town of Moenchengladbach and a ball ache to get to and worse to get back from especially in the pouring rain. Alexander Prass Austrian midfielder of TSG is a real class player, Going to do more of these weekends when we are not playing or are away great fun

We went to Bremen 2 weeks ago hoping that Werder were at home, but they were at Dortmund on the Friday night. We decided to watch Union Bremen on the Saturday and VFB Oldenburg on the Sunday. There is a group of us who regularly go away for German football weekends, one even has a season ticket at Hamburg. He is a Geordie though so it’s probably better to travel and watch them rather than his own team. It’s nice to be able to watch football and have a beer while you’re watching it,knowing that you aren’t going to be soaked in beer every time a goal is scored. And the atmosphere at most German games is brilliant. I’d recommend it to anyone who has a spare weekend and a bit of spare cash.
