We have made an offer according to local rag.

https://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/18762089.qpr-table-offer-southend-united-strik

Anyone no anything about him?

Meanwhile WLS reckons we gone back with another bid for Bonne.

Chunky for 18, what will he be like when he's filled out?

Oteh will be on his way out then. I noticed in one game Oteh showed awesome pace for a possible over the top ball. But they never played that enough for him.

But the difference in capability between him and Dykes for hold up play is stark. And this is where Oteh will not make it in my view.

zzzzzzzzzz

Offer now rejected, per the same author.

Southend in a fair bit of strife though so you would think there's something do-able.

Their fans seem vaguely cross at him for already stagnating despite still being only 18 and after two seasons in a struggling first team.

I've been wondering for a while if our lower league radar has been switched on at all since Penrice left. This is the sort of deal we need to be doing.

Need that Charlie Kelman and Charley Kendall partnership!

I suspect our offer consisted of a packet of pickled onion monster munch, bottle of Lidl coke and a half a box of lemon and lime Tic Tacs. The rumours are that we may go back in and raise our offer to include a Nandos loyalty card as well. Seems to be a fair price in these difficult times.

Never knowingly understood

You would think that we would be looking at him to develop in the under 23s rather than joining up with the first team straight away, as opposed to Bonne.

Stating the obvious but Eze's progress has to be a huge benefit to Warbs Warbleton in selling the club to these kind of young players.

Seems clear that this lad wants back to England and we can give him a path to the Premier League where he would have probably expected/hoped to end up.

Sell club, microwave player, sell player, repeat.

So that's Kelman, Bonne, Willock, Adomah, Green...just one more striker on top of these and I think we're good

Gotta love the Warbsball philosophy.

“It’s about goals and a lot of goals have been taken out of the team, which we have to replace.

Never mind the defending let's just make sure we score more than they do.

Time to rebrand as the Queens Park Globetrotters.

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

Would have liked a left back if Manning is never going to play for us again
Also with the names mentioned it could mean the end of the road for Oteh & Smyth who warburton clearly doesn’t seem to rate

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Kelman scored 8/9 goals last year in a side that made our relegation side of 2001 look like Brazil 1970.

If we can get a good deal he could definitely be worth a punt

He seems to be integrating Smyth at the moment and Shodipo has dropped down a bit.

Bare bones.

A few people say good things about this kid. He has a touch of the Rooneys apparently in the making and is very aggressive in terms of getting stuck in. Perhaps we'll leap up from £10 to £15 for the next bid?

Never knowingly right.

1 RW, 2 x LW, 2 x ST... will be interesting to see how many of these are either/or irons in the fire. it's all already a bit splashier than MW's comments this week seemed to indicate, especially if we really are any closer to tying Bright down. People seem to have already forgotten we've Thomas too.

I'm particularly unsure about the Bonne interest since Charlton are now in more of a position to resist. Brighton just signed another striker today so the earlier rumoured loan interest in their Swedish forward would presumably be more attainable and easier on the finances.
