Sir Les to Joe and his agent

Now, about that deal you were stalling on.
You can go to a L1 club at the end of your contract, where you will, almost certainly earn less than you do here or you can sign the contract that we are prepared to give you.
Take it or leave it.

To be honest I think the conversation would be a lot shorter

From first choice Championship to being yelled at by Steve Evans. He's had quite an October.

When you say Lumley to Gillingham. Is it for football reasons? Cos I’ve heard a rumour the tall bloke at the Asda in Gillingham, the one who’s good at reaching stuff from the upper shelves for the old dears, is off sick. If so it could be a great move, will do wonders for his confidence helping the old girls with tinned peaches, incontinence pads and the like.

Dieng has taken his chance. Think JL time at Rangers is over.

This isn't a criticism but has Dieng done any better than Lumley would have? We are still conceding over a goal a game. It wasn't ever the keepers it is that bloody defence.

Best of luck to him. Hope he gets his confidence and mojo back. He's a talented keeper and has done well fore us in the past.

I think he has done better to befair, albeit with a smaller sample size.

I got down-arrowed for suggesting that the first goal he conceded displayed poor positioning, a header from a corner against M'boro and that tendency has re-occurred a couple of times since. I also think that he could have been further off his line for the Chaplin goal on Tuesday. But these are the only small items of technical improvement I can see.

He seems to me to be quiet as well. If so - and it's really hard to tell on stream -then hopefully that will come quickly. Lumley excelled at communication and organisation.

Dieng's aerial ability is really very good, both for crosses and also at set-pieces which has helped us improve at defending corners for instance, along with the obious work being done on the training ground by the defence as a whole.

I'm always loathe to say that a defence "is more confident with" a certain keeper behind the as this implies that we can read minds but Dieng's speed off his line for crosses and through balls must really help them. He's been very good in that department.

Overall, he's in as good a run of form as any Rangers keeper since Lumley's very first spell two years ago, I would say. And maybe since Smithies.

Let's hope it continues.

I think he's done miles better, have to be honest, and I like Joe a lot.

Bare bones.

What became of the Polish Keeper with enormous arms?

Highly rated at one point but never seem to have found out what became of him?

Our Polish U23 keeper Marcin Brzozowski is currently out on loan to National League South club Billericay Town. He also had previous loan spells at Yeovil, Braintree and Hendon.
The Billericay loan expires in January - so hopefully he will get a few games in.
