Snowing 09:39 - Mar 31 with 3009 viewsterryb

It's snowing in Ipswich this morning. I hope that Grotty (Greater Anglia) are fully prepared for this & it doesn't delay my arrival time at the pub on Saturday!

They are bloody big flakes as well!

Daughter has just text to say it's snowing in Nottingham too.
Nothing down here in the sunny south.

We had a few flakes here in west London earlier. First I’ve seen this winter I think.

Snowing in Weybridge. Pretty cold on top of this roof.

Snowing in Leigh On Sea.

Lovely and warm by the wood burner in my Donegal weave duck feather quilted dirk bogarde dressing gown, breakfasting on smoked kippers and devilled kidneys .

A yardarm tincture of Sam adnams jack brand dry hopped lager enjoyed by a roaring fire in the Crooked Billet gin palace, wistfully gazing at the bobbing fishing boats beckon.

A VHS animotion pictorial of pre AIDS '70's West Coast Aunt Peg casting couch adult erotica, for when i get back to my gaff to get the blood flowing after freezing my bollocks off on the walk home.

Magic.

Don't need no politicians to tell me things I shouldn't be, Neither no opticians to tell me what I oughta see.

Sleet in Fleet Street.

Sounds like a great Doom song title.

"The Sleet of Fleet street" 9 minutes long, no chorus with sounds of misery, sleet, fire and plague.

Sunny start but cold wind, now turned to rain and a light hail shower, on the south coast. Sun back out now but probably not for long.

I was in Regent's Park yesterday and I noticed that the air was really cold and that there weren't that many people around and wondered if it was going to snow.

Very windy in sunny Hammersmith. As an old girlfriend of mine used to say - “I don't know where that wind's coming from, but I know where it's going”

That's early Dubai.

I wouldn't make the game if I was in the pub from 11am! The 10.52 slow train for me to arrive in pub for 1.00pm

Still taters in the mould this morning. Wind whipping a snowstorm around Hammersmith Broadway.

Still freezing my arse off on a roof in Weybridge. I'm waiting for the next installment of Discos heartwarming tales to warm my cockles whilst I sit in the transit with the blowers on full blast and eating a cheese sandwich and Cadburys Twirl.

It was snowing during the start of my 8 a side football match - outdoors - yesterday and someone helpfully dragged their foot along the touchlines so we could actually see lines (we play on half a pitch). We called for the orange ball but sadly, it turns out said item is missing from our kitbag. The snowstorm lasted about ten minutes and turned the pitch white, although the covering wasn't deep, mercifully. It did make it very slippery, obs, and made accurate passing difficult (or was that down to our ineptitude?)

In terms of temperature, it wasn't the coldest game of the year but man alive, I don't think I have felt colder on a pitch. I was wearing five layers and I wasn't the only one. Yeah, I know, we should've run around more LOL.

What I really couldn't believe was that after the game, at 8pm, one guy stood chatting to his mate outside, wearing only a football top on his top half...and he is South African!
Obviously a man of steel!

Limousin…is that the estate agent name for the gentrified part of Limehouse?

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

I think Limehouse might be considerably.more expensive (higher commission) than Limousin where avg house price is 80-90,000€
