It’ll be on Sky. Even if we aren’t there.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Wednesday evening early October.

You’re in Leeds.

A violent middle-aged woman banned from being a dinner-lady in all schools in the West Yorkshire Education region but not banned from being a match-day steward at Elland Road impels you to remain seated while all around people of a Northern disposition are on their feet baying for your southern soft-shit cockney blood.

The season long loan goalkeeper whose name you can’t quite pronounce yet has just picked the fourth out of the net.

Friends message you from warm pubs and front-rooms in the South saying the camera just picked you out on Sky and is everything okay?

You long for the whistle to end the torment.

But there will be a second-half too.

Haven’t made my mind up on this one yet.

Has the club ever considered returning any allocation in protest at the prices?

And in return we simply charge Leeds 45 quid when they come to Loftus Road.

Yeah, but historically we've charged away fans quite a lot as well, so that might come back to haunt us.

Why not? They'll still bring 50,000.

That's what most Championship fans say about having to pay £38ish pounds to sit in the Upper School end.

Premier league prices for a cub who couldn’t hack it at that level.
Always had a high opinion of themselves with nothing to back it up.

There was a time - 1970s - when they had reason to be proud of themselves.
One of the matches that I enjoyed most was in 1976, when, in a 'must win' game, we beat them 2-0. I shall never forget Stan Bowles advancing on the Loftus Road end and scoring the second. We were so packed in on that terrace that I did not actually see the ball go into the net. There was, however, no doubt what had happened

Yep, never been in anything quite like it since with perhaps the exception of Oldham!

Even if someone offered me £47 to go up North I’d still politely decline.

Wasn’t away fans capped at £20 in the PL? Certainly trying to recoup some of that.
That was one of the game I was going to as my some of my kids live in Yorkshire , I’m not paying £47.
