I see that the club have really gone for the idea of selling off everything and sticking a sponsors name on it!
With the timing of this one you surely have to assume that this is a way to put together a very small pot for some Marti Jan signings? You almost wonder if he already has some bodies lined up?

I used to think I would be really annoyed by this but the fact is they can sponsor it whatever they like, will always be Loftus Road to me. The Stan Bowles will always be the Ellerslie, the whatever Aggregates Stand the School End, the Bhatia Memorial the South Africa Road stand and most definitely the Loftus Engineering Stand, the Loft.

I wonder if they just wanted to do it all 'by the book' - do you remembertwo or three seasons ago, Hoos was saying the birds would be coming home to roost for a number of clubs in our league in terms of FFP. Well, Reading and Derby, yes, but not much else. I wonder if they, rightly, thought, 'surely this all makes a mockery of the rules?' and waited for it to be clamped down upon. then it wasn't. Personally, I hate it and find it embarrassing, whatever drabs of cash it brings in. The Stanley Bowles stand is cool, even though Hoos disgracefully made us pay for it. But the others are just pathetic, and Bhatia slapping his name on SAR, with zero consultation with the fanbase, is so pitifully self-aggrandising I hope he falls down a manhole (on SAR, for poetic justice). I suspect that more likely the need for income to meet ffp is such that for not much more than a board around the ground you can get a naming right if you’re willing to pay the 1.5 seasons upfront…. | | | |

May 2023 accounts say 6 employees.
To be honest I'd imagine being a contracting business the vast majority of its work is with other contractors rather than employed staff, which you wouldn't include in statutory filings, hence the apparently low number. | | | |

Regards the programmes, can’t imagine the club make more than a grand or so on total sales per match. Why not charge £100 a programme, say they’ve printed 3000, hand 100 out free and say they sold the whole 3000. Means the owners could claim the club sold the lot, and three hundred grand a game goes into the clubs coffers as sales rather than loan and wipes another near £7 million a year off the FFP.

Exactly, it could be a 1 man band for all we care, the club have a figure in mind for the sponsorship of a stand and if a company is happy to pay it then it's fine no matter how big or small they are.
