| The Springbok on 15:31 - Dec 21 with 3284 views | Northernr | We were walking past when it went off. Seemed like a load of the Leicester fans who'd left early had gone in there, police had then pulled the shutters down and locked it to let QPR go past at full time, and when they opened it up again it all went a bit Ark of the Covenant. Underrated arsehole element to Leicester's support. Last time they were down here a dozen of them went in the Crown after the game, stood round the bar in a line being a deliberate obstruction/pain in the ars to anybody who wanted a drink, then started singing bloody Leicester songs to a pub full of women and kids mainly and were told to leave it out at which point they tried to boot off with everybody in there. Said to one of them if you're so brave go and sing your silly little song in the White Horse see how you get on in there. | | | |

Think I’ve said elsewhere they always seem to have an aggy element, often unnecessarily so for the surroundings. Perhaps on purpose, never liked them as a result

Reminds me of the Cup game last season. We were near the home fans on the right and we spotted one with said goggley hood, a man of advancing years who really should have known better. Anyway my son and his mate, for want of seeing any of the football, started to shout “Goggles” at him at very regular intervals. Extremely childish and funny in equal measure…he didn’t reappear for the second half!

Not childish or funny to me reading it without context.A man of advancing years watching his team not bothering anybody gets taunted by young people to such an extend he does not appear to enjoy his team for a full half .He paid for his ticket ,dresses warm (that was a miserable foggy game right) and was too frightened/ashamed,embarrased to watch them destroy us I wonder if its you and your son and his friend should have known better .

Remember some big rucks with them on the Uxbridge Road in the late eighties. Maybe the old Baby Squad have now turned into “Dads Army” and are still at it. Pathetic really.

I sometimes wonder what would happen to these "brave" morons should they happen to try it on against some of our fans who are experienced in boxing, Judo etc? Probably piss their pants....

Bugger ! Where’s a man meant to get his friction burn and salopette fetish satisfied these days ? At least I now know that I can wear my googles openly to games….out of the ski boot locker at last, loud and proud.
