Hey who cares of hes fit or not , Stick him on when young comes on as a late sub , id happily watch him clear him out on one leg , and have the delay to the game for the air ambulance to land on the pitch while they search for the reamining bits of his left knee or right im not fussy !

Does anyone miss these days ? I dont mean a competitive QPR up there giving as good as they took a lot of times better sometimes to. Or one of my favourite players Mr Mac. Just when football was tougher. I mean I am sure theee were less injuries was it as skill full and quick. Who knows but what a tackle

If both Dunne and Mbengue are out for this one it would be interesting to hear what people think about how we can best cobble together a defence which is going to be remotely competitive. As previously suggested, I’d put Cook in, 101st game or not and have Ronnie at right-back but as that’s unlikely to happen I think Stephan’s got a virtually insoluble problem. (Meant to put this on the match thread but I dunno whether there’s any way you can delete a post or move it somewhere else).

There were definitely less substitutions, so maybe that was a factor in less injuries. Its a common trope to say the game is faster now and thats why there are more injuries, but I'm not so sure.
