RIP Mr Macey. Thankyou for bringing a life time of QPR history into our lives

Have his book by the side of my work place and constantly look things up.

On a side note my copy went up to 2009, is there a more up to date edition?

I worked with Gordon for several years at Systems Union. Besides his invaluable guidance and entertaining personality, he always kept me up-to-date with what was really happening at QPR.

As Club historian for so long he managed to become an important part of that history.

Very sad about this, I knew Gordon well as in his day job, he worked at the same company as me.

When I joined I had to write a potted history of myself which was sent to everyone, I inlcuded a QPR reference which Gordon spotted and came down to introduce himself and showed/sold me his book.

Sad day.
