...really. Rotherham and Cardiff, two teams which I usually have no particular like or dislike for. But there they are, jostling with us in the ‘nervous zone’ and I suppose it’s better Cardiff get a result just to keep those below us, below us.

Poll: Thank God The Seaons Over.

Another exciting use of my £10.

A draw would be ok - Rotherham stay behind us and Cardiff stay in the mix too

tbh I don't think this will really affect us home, away or draw. Cardiff won't get dragged that far down the table with the new manager, and if Rotherham win, we get an immediate chance to knock them back again. It's all about what we do.

Well Rotherham have fairly well battered Cardiff in the first half. 10 corners to nil. Superb save by Phillips in for Smithies. One blatant pen turned away and a second big appeal. Cardiff went over the halfway line once, on a big counter, and scored.

We are going to have to stand up to all sorts of corner and set piece sht at the weekend. They just keep heaving it in there.

Should be 2-0 now though, Rotherham keeper just made a top drawer save.

Was only a couple of weeks ago that Rotherham had 3 games in hand on us and could have caught up, if they lose tonight we are 4 points ahead on the same games.

1-1. Deserved it. Pitch disintegrating.

Pleased with a Cardiff win. Doesn't feel right.

Well Cardiff won 2-1, but it wasn’t a reflection of the game. Rotherham should have had at least one penalty. We’ll have all on with them on Saturday if it happens - pitch wasn’t playable at the end, would have been abandoned if it started at 745.

Very impressed that you paid your own money to scout this match for us, Clive. Thank you.

Would have preferred a draw. Pitch wont suit us on Saturday whatever they do with it between now and then. Not expecting anything out of the game. Thanks Clive

Birmingham. 2nd from bottom. that happened quickly, they were above us last time i acknowledged their existance.

Last time I acknowledged their existence, Bob Latchford was playing up front for them.

The manager has some difficult decisions for the game on Saturday. Does he rest some players? Start Austin on the bench? It will be billed as a relegation 6 pointer but it’s not really. 3 points would of course be great but a point wouldn’t be a disaster.

Sounds like the game,at our place. It was like Wimbledon of the 80s they way they were bombarding our area.
Effective but turgid.

when we beat them at home in the first half we ripped them apart on the flanks so possibly Wilock in for one of the forwards and play 4-2-3-1 with the ball which can switch to 5-4-1 without it

3 points more and we could be sitting in the giddy position of 12th....

3 points less and we'd be in 19th

16th feels like comfy slippers.

Very strange League this season.

The forwards need to work hard to close down and prevent those big bombs into our box.

Well Paddy can't make up his mind

Them 8/5
Us 17/10
Draw 21/10

Those win odds so close, you will be able to get them on either team if you look around.

Also dry in Rotherham from now until Saturday (Source:Met Office for when it snows!), so hopefully pitch will dry out a bit.

Let's hope the pitch isn't frozen as temperatures are staying low over the next few days - don't think they have undersoil heating despite if being a newish ground
