Not as often as I'd like but a few months back I was on a Kato diet fry ups every other day for 6 weeks I lost a couple of stone but it's not a very nice diet with no carbs. Had eggs and bacon on toast Sunday. |  |

I cooked one last Sunday, first time for six months. Thick cut bacon, sausages, black pudding, fried toms, mushrooms and bread.
Verdict.
Super, enjoyed every bite, see you again in another six months.
I note the reference to Clonakilty, if you’re a black pudding fan I highly recommend this product. Unfortunately it appears to be unavailable at my local import emporium, so I only get to eat it when I’m over for a game.
Never felt the need for brown sauce like most do, the whole meal has my taste buds exploding without any further help.
Also, never thought baked beans added to the experience, if you need moisture, fry extra tomatoes and make sure the big mug of strong tea is right beside the plate. | |

Best fry-up I've ever had was in a French cafe/bistro near where I live. It had the following items:
Fried egg x2
Cumberland Sausage x2
Streaky Bacon x3
Black pudding
Fired tomato
Mushrooms
Beans
Hash browns

Does not need to be a unhealthy meal. I bought my self an air fryer and it does bacon and sausages really well, home made chips very good too. Beans are a good source of carb and eggs fried using 1 cal spray are decent. Just go easy on the sausages, I buy reduced fat ones. |  | | |

Only ever really have a proper fry-up when I’m on holiday these days.
Normal breakfast on a weekday is apple, orange, cereal (Weatabix/Bran Flakes/Shredded Wheat on rotation), coffee. About 11am I’ll have a Banana and Green Tea or sometimes a bit of toast and jam or for a treat Almond Croissant.
Sunday mornings I often have an omelette of some description or scrambled egg with smoked Salmon.
Very rarely these days do I have any meat before Lunch. Saying that most lunches are veg too (soup, baked potato, salad in summer, cheese sandwich, falafel, pastry). |  |

Porridge:
25g of Rolled oats
400ml water with 2 scoops of protein powder
1 teaspoon of psyllium husk
1 large handful of blueberries.
Cook that in microwave for 3mins 10secs (900w), then stir in 2 teaspoons of stevia and cook for another 30s. LEave for 5 minutes then sir in 1/3rd tub of Yeo Valley pro-biotic yoghurt. | | | |
