That Mick Beale will be Rangers (Glasgow variety) manager by the end of the World Cup.

I don't like seeing the amount of 'Beale to GRangers' web chatter over recent days but I'm putting it all down to clickbait...so far.

Beale will be our Manager at the end of the WC and at the end of this season, If that Is not the case then come back and berate me by all means.

Hope so Ted, but he regularly attends the supporters club meets in Bermondsey, is obviously a huge fan and should the job come up he may not get another chance, will obviously have to wait and see and hopefully that Rangers go on along winning streak.

Had a look online and can’t believe the quote from Beale re Rangers (see below). Reads like a come and get me plea. I like Beale but I would prefer that he focussed on the job in hand at QPR.

“What a football club,” he told BT's Currie Club. “And what a group of people that are around it and support it. It’s an institution. Anybody who was part of our staff who had the opportunity to go back there, they would in the future. It had a massive hold on us.

Yeah. He needs to knock this stuff on the head IMHO.

Loftboy, so far we've played 20 games and you've got to say that Beale has got us into a good position, however a Month ago we were flying high but to coin a phrase the wheels have come of somewhat, If I was a GR fan I'd be a bit concerned looking at our recent results and the fact that Beale hasn't as yet stopped the rot so to speak.
Lets face It Beale Is good but after 20 games In charge you can't In my opinion make a decent judgement on how a Manager Is performing In his first Managerial role.
If and when GR sack their Manager and look to the Championship to get another Manager then I'd looking further up the table than sixth position.
To my way of thinking Beale Is still doing his Managerial apprenticeship, he hasn't been In the job long enough yet, he's doing okay at the moment but that's all, nothing special.

Spot on. Long way to go to properly live up to the hype given the last few performances/results. If you look at the table, with the likes of Millwall in 11th within a win of our points tally, we’re nothing special right now. We’ve been found out a little bit over the last few, the big test comes now for Beale and how he responds.

Currently losing to St Mirren so manager is on the brink

I don't think so. I think he's committed to us until the end of the season. If by some miracle we do go up I think he will be here next season as well. If we fall short then perhaps he may go. I would hope he sees this as being a very good place to really learn his craft for a few seasons.

Never knowingly right.

Didn't Gerrard and Beale leave Glasgow Rangers for bigger and better things at Aston Villa?

"he regularly attends the supporters club meets in Bermondsey,"

That's shocking poor, if he does.

All a bit naive from Beale. The problem is that doing all of this while we’re winning is one thing. But when we’re on a bad run, as we are at the moment, he’s going to find that any goodwill he’s built with our supporters will quickly evaporate.

Honeymoon definitely over for me. Never bought into all the eulogising by fans, as this is his first job, and he still has a lot to learn - even if he feels he knows it all already.. In his defence are the usual caveats when it comes to QPR. Poor player recruitment, meant even with his players in( too many sick notes though) he still inherited a lot of poor players at this level, and a club with a losing mentality..He needs to go away and think hard about what he is going to do next..At the end of the day, we are still a "poisoned chalice" of a club.

It's been said on more than one occasion that you rarely turn up unless we've lost and then only to post the most negative of opinions.

Perhaps you need to go away and think hard about what club you're going to support.

The state of the way Championship clubs are run hiring and firing after 8 games etc, you cannot blame the managers for trying to climb the ladder as quickly as possible, take the cheques before your fired again. Ridiculous.

Id like to see a window introduced meaning a club can only hire a new coach out side of a season. If they sack them then they shouldn't be allowed to hire a new one until the summer and have to settle for a promotion within their staff.

Absolutely agree with this idea, Toast. If a club sacks it's manager, why should they be allowed to grab another club's manager. I am so proud of Michael saying NO to Wolves.

I'm getting pretty bored with the whole will he won't he go to wolves? Now will he won't he go to the small Rangers?

Not home from Coventry yet, and we the fans put in a lot of time, both emotionally and financially.

Make your mind up, and either commit or leave. I'm really not too fused tbh
