No irony intended with this choice.
What old favourites do you keep returning to?

So many to choose from Brian. Don't think I can pick a favourite out of these two.

Excellent film, but requires more concentration than is possible on a Sunday afternoon, especially one after the best Rangers days in months!

The first film I ever watched in a cinema, Brian. Dominion, Tottenham Court Road. About a hundred years ago. There as a joke shop across the road that I spent years trying to get my dad to take me back to. Sneezing powder, whoopee cushions and plastic sick. Great times.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

I've not seen The African Queen Ted, but the other two are on my list!

The Graduate & The Alamo are two others for me.

Rumour has it that the huge Parakeet population in London is from some escapees from the filming of the African Queen.

Watched Back to the Future earlier.

The film is set 30 years before it was released. We're now 38 years from when the film came out.

Also, we're slowly working our way through the David Lean collection. Some wonderful films, including, appropriately for today, 'This Happy Breed'.

The 1956 Reach for the Sky film often seemed to be on Sunday afternoon TV when I was a lad. The hospital scene when Bader hears a nurse saying he's about to die always got me. Can't say I watch it now though.

EDIT: Sorry DW, I didn't see you'd posted the same film.
