Armstrong? on 09:25 - Aug 20 with 3636 views | DaBurgh | I remember it was often said about Frank Bruno that he was too 'muscle-bound' to be an effective boxer, he was prone to cramping and general fatigue because of it. Maybe the same for Sinclair, yeah I know there are other brick sh!t house footballers. Maybe they need to be handled and looked after a little differently, and they haven't quite tweeked it yet with Mr. Armstrong.

Armstrong? on 09:54 - Aug 20 with 3529 views | Pikey | He's a young man and believe it not still growing. Also the effort he puts in jn a 60 minute shift is greater than most. If you remember Les was the same as a youngster. This boy will be one of our very best if properly looked after. Also like the look of the Bonner boy confident, could beat a man. Again very young but the raw materials are there for a good player.
Armstrong? on 09:59 - Aug 20 with 3499 views | ted_hendrix | I seem to recall that when he was on loan at Exeter he never seemed to play a full 90 minutes but was used as a sub quite a lot?

Armstrong? on 10:29 - Aug 20 with 3389 views | stevec | Seemed to be closing down their entire back line on his own most of the first half. Prone to cramp or not, a marathon runner would be struggling with that workload.
Armstrong? on 10:51 - Aug 20 with 3320 views | Antti_Heinola | Reminds me of Gerrard in that in his early years he was very much like Sinclair: picked up injuries, struggled to last matches etc. Then he 'grew into' his body and was very robust.

Armstrong? on 11:23 - Aug 20 with 3163 views | mart_Goblin | Going back a long way but Les was the same for his first years at QPR. Apart from not being that good to start with. He continuously struggled with injuries match after match . Later on his career he didn’t play when he didn’t feel 100% which was a bit infuriating as he missed lots of games . That burst down the left yesterday really reminded me of Les in his prime . Sheer pace and power. A wonderful sight

Also had a shot when closed down with awesome power with hardly any back lift, as did Les.

Armstrong? on 16:28 - Aug 20 with 2649 views | qpr_1968 | absolutely love the man. when he picks the ball up his main aim is to go for goal and try to get a shot in. in his excitement he kind of stumbles over the ball, either loses control or picks up where he left off and gets a shot in, usually on target....4 or 5 times during a game. does'nt matter how long he's on the pitch for with time and experience he'll be picking that ball up like a young gazelle and gliding the ball into the net. anyone see how frustrated he gets when missing or going near to a goal, in the first half down near the ipswich end corner, he looked as if he was gonna take aim and cannon the spare ball into the ipswich end with frustation, it would have been like parting the sea if he did. playing 90 minutes will come.

Armstrong? on 17:27 - Aug 20 with 2504 views | Lblock | Dunno what his contract situation is but I’d be extending it if it were my call. He was wanted by Man City as a kid I think? Lots to learn and pace to burn I don’t think he’ll be prolific but he’ll be a top pro if he keeps humble, learning and developing Also think he’s the perfect striker for Gazball

Armstrong? on 22:17 - Aug 20 with 2133 views | numptydumpty | Anyone who does so many incredibly pacy sprints towards opposition players in possession or runs with ball at pace so often and it was a hot day is going to tire and yes he certainly a muscle bound lump of a man. But the exuberance of youth noticed during the warm ups attempting many several height busting springs, he certainly runs on adrenaline and forgets he needs conserve energy at down times. I think the backroom staff will make increasing Sinclairs stamina as a priority. Felt the goal coming would be the start point for him Lift off !!!

Armstrong? on 22:41 - Aug 20 with 2105 views | NorthantsHoop | Asked to do too much yesterday, rather forced on him as had no strike partner to play off and support him. If we can get Dykes fit again and they build on a partnership then could look very promising. A big problem is that our midfield is too slow to support and he was virtually taking on the Ipswich back line by himself, although he got us off our seats a few times with those barnstorming runs at the defenders and was very unlucky not to score. The big problem is that we have no decent 3rd striker in the squad to bring on, Kolli looks like an attacking midfielder and may be the missing link, who knows. Don't think Kellman is the 3rd striker option not really done much in his limited appearances to suggest he us up to being a Championship player.

It was Torquay Ted and no, he made eight appearances for them in all with six starts and of those starts he played the full 90 in all but one of them (taken off after 81 minutes in the other).
