I'm pleased about this. He has a lot of experience which is something we lack in the coaching staff and has a passion for the club. I don't think it will put extra pressure on Ramsey as Warnock has said in the past he'd like a DoF or advisory role, although from the outside looking in I can see why people will make that assumption. Given how good we were defensively during our promotion under Warnock hopefully we'll start to defend properly soon too!! |  |

I thought people would be happier? For ages people have been asking for an experienced hand on the tiller that could guide the "rookie" Ramsey, for someone to come in and sort the defence, for more club legends to be appointed up the club, etc.

Great move. Warnock said he would be happy to help in the podcast at the end of last year. Doesn't necessarily make Ramsey's position untenable at all. Like it, especially with Impey's appointment too. More and more people who care about our club working in it. Good thing.
