Andy Thomson 16:36 - Mar 1 with 2848 views | TGRRRSSS | Did he really get 20 goals for us in one season? Didnt we go down anyway? (along with Crouchy) who I think scored 9 goals for us that season. That cant be right surely about Thomson...
Andy Thomson on 16:38 - Mar 1 with 2275 views | MrSheen | Though he joined towards the end of the relegation season he got his goals the next season at the lower level. Strangely couldn’t hit a barn door the next year. Always came over as a loner, never celebrated anyone else’s goals. [Post edited 1 Mar 2020 16:39]

Andy Thomson on 16:42 - Mar 1 with 2259 views | TGRRRSSS | Just checked his Wiki I think he joined and maybe made debut away at Portsmouth (1-1 draw - not sure who scored though... He did seem a strange bloke - I remember Ollie making a funny quote (funny weird) about setting up his sausages on the camp fire or something.
Andy Thomson on 17:32 - Mar 1 with 2170 views | mcqpr10 | He got nearly all his goals in the first half of the season and then they dried up. Good finisher.

Don Masson? John Spencer to a lesser, or more short term, extent

No idea how I forgot Masson. How embarrassing! Bobby Cameron too for the older readers. Jamie Mackie sort of.

Agreed, he played like Ian Wright and I think his first game for us was against Palarse who were newly promoted. All the Palarse fans though QPR would be a walkover now they had joined the top flight and Bright and Wright would smash the division. Parker marked Ian Wright out of the game as did Macca for Mark Bright and our Paul Wright scored the first in a 2-0 win. We were in total control and brushed past them as an on-paper a tricky first fixture of the season. Palarse fans were gob smacked and by the end you could see they were worried this was a tough division when they could not beat little ole QPR. I think he also played well in that famous 3-2 win over Liverpool when Barnes played his best game ever, but they still lost :) zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Andy Thomson on 23:07 - Mar 1 with 1645 views | timcocking | Yeah, he was a proper goalscorer. Scored every chance he got. Wasn't playing with Crouch, though, was he? Did absolutely nothing else all game, barely broke into a run, but he could tuck it away alright. Was sort of an anti-Jordan Hugill. [Post edited 1 Mar 2020 23:07]

Andy Thomson on 09:22 - Mar 2 with 1405 views | Toast_R | Thomson and Bobby Zamora going head to head for Division 2's top scorer that season. Good job he knew where the net was as QPR would have been bang in trouble staring at Division 3.
