I genuinely can’t think of any examples where Hamalainen has cost us points.

I'm with you on that. He had a bad day against Derby, though. Started that game well, but looked bereft of confidence by the end. Probably right to take him out for a spell after that.

The line will probably be '7 games in February' or similar.
It does make sense but if we go and lose its a poor decision, I'd rather rest him at the start of another game than potentially chuck something away like this
