Just watched a video which is allegedly him torturing his cat. I have a cat and I love animals and I have to say watching that made me feel sick. What the actual f*ck possess someone to do that to a defenceless animal?
The video of zouma is sick and I wish I hadn't seen it.
It is interesting (to me anyway) the way that this behaviour towards a cat is disgraceful and inspires disgust in all of us yet killing animals to eat them is broadly speaking still considered ok. Always illuminating to see how and where society draws its lines of moral acceptability.
I did hear earlier, that at the match last night he got fouled and while on the ground the fams sang 'now you know how it feels' to him.
Sick fcu ker, and at least 1 or 2 of his family, to allow that to happen and / or join in, in 1 way or another.
In my book, he's scum, and deserves kicking up and down the park every week. The trouble is, that firstly, he's as thick as shyte (Obvs), and secondly he's on a wage of £6m a year so doesnt really give one, and lastly his and those porn merchants will put their managers, and PR departments to work to put a totally different spin on it. probably something like 'he said the cat look at him funny, and decided to sort the cat out before it struck'.
As for Moyes. I'm with actor Jesse Ventura who said something in the helicopter in the film Predator!
Where is your wriggle room if one of our players raped or murdered someone ?
Sorry but i was not looking for or asking for any 'wriggle room' as you put it.If any of our players were charged with rape or murder they would'nt be playing anyway would they!

Ok thats too strong ..common assault ,racist or Homophobic aggression ? Wriggle room was a bit glib ..how does the scale of your response change ?
I cannot and will not watch the video. Now the cats have been removed I hope they will find a home they deserve, and that Zouma finds a home he deserves too as mentioned above.

I think society tends to view eating meat as part of a balanced diet as quite different to slapping and kicking a domesticated cat. Of course, if we all ate our domesticated pets and kicked the cr*p out of livestock, that would also inspire disgust.

Difference is that animals bred for consumption are generally well looked after and death is pretty instant, I don’t think many farmers give a sheep, cow or chicken a good kick on their way to the promised land.
favourite cheese mature Cheddar. FFS there is no such thing as the EPL
It would appear the cat at Hillsborough last night has been missing since June last year and is now being reunited with its owner. It's almost like the world knew we needed a positive football/cat story. #swfcpic.twitter.com/4cGVMfDozh

Moyes post match said the club had done everything they could and hopes the boy will learn from his mistakes. He had to pick him though as it was in spams best interests on the pitch. Football needs to unite across the top leagues. Cheaper match day tickets for the fans and less wages for the players and agents. It makes me vomit the money these top players are on. Bring them back to reality. I'd gladly go back to the big match live once a week and MOTD and bring these superstars down a peg or two.
I think Jude can stand his ground against Zouma when we meet West Ham next year Boston. He was fines 2 weeks wages around 250,000 pounds I can hardly find the strength to type that its shocking money. The backlash is huge in France too they want him kicked off the National side ( I did not know he was on it ).
I see that Dagenham & Redbridge have suspended his brother, Yoan with immediate effect for filming the video. He will not play for them until the conclusion of the RSPCA investigation and then they will act on the conclusions drawn.
Good on Dagenham & Redbridge for doing the right thing. Shame that West Ham are such a pile of sh*t.

Spot on Bosh... The Daggers proving that they know how to run a club... I would like to think that had the outcry against Wet Spam picking their player not happened they would have taken the same action
In a world where most people eat animals and some people shoot animals, is it a bit strange that kicking an animal is seen as worse?

Speaking as an animal, if I had the choice of being eaten, shot or kicked, I’d definitely chose to be kicked, even if the person kicking me laughed and put it TikTok. Don’t get me wrong, I would think he was an absolute b&stard for kicking me but I’d prefer it to being eaten.

But surely you can see there is a clear distinction between intentional abuse of defenseless pet animal for sh*ts and giggles and well, farming?

Yeah, I can see there is a big difference, and clearly it is easier to focus on the cruelty of one incident, but I was just wondering if other people share my feeling that factory farming is much crueller and on a much bigger scale. Or am I alone on that?

Factory farming is unbelievably cruel. Animals living their entire lives in small cages or pens and hardly ever seeing daylight. They are expanding too. Sadly, while there is a general belief that animal living standards have gone up in recent years, the growth of factory farms where animals are treated as just a unit for profit and demand for cheap meat means the opposite is true. Aided by a government that has allowed a slow decline in regulations.
